Bando's — Local services in Beaumont

This company is being reported. Our wedding is almost a year away and we tried to get some information from them so that way we could book whenever they weren't busy. Maria/Marie is the rudest "supervisor" there. My fiancee called and spoke with her earlier this week and she proceeded in cutting her off, and talking very harshly to her when just trying to get some information. I called her today myself to see how truthful this situation was. I asked for her and told her that my fiancee called and that we were not pleased with the service because regardless of "how busy" you are, customer service comes before it all and she proceeded to cut me off, hung the phone up on me and I was just letting her know that we gave them a courtesy call way in advance to get some information on a food station and how she treated us was terrible. They are being reported to the Better Business Bureau and What's Bugging you. By simply talking to us, we could have had many things solved. No manager has ever been this ugly or this rude and they just lot potential clients and money. When will incompetent managers be removed from businesses where they talk to people so ugly.

**Called back for a second time, spoke with someone else who was equally as rude. She asked me what was going on and as I am trying to explain it, she cut me off and proceeds to tell me how Marie is 80 years old and that I need to think about if it was my grandmother. First of all, I did not know Marie was 80 and I was still patient with her, she was rude and hung up on me. I told the new person, we are just trying to get basic information so we don't add more stress to you and she proceeds to cut me off every time I said something. Why would you ask me whats going on and then continue to cut me off. This company is very rude, and ignorant. They say they did nothing wrong but you treat people like trash.

*It's amazing at what a "Business manager" will do when they are clearly in the wrong. Debbie gets on here to respond to my review and it is a blatant lie. I know of the other company they worked under and they were equally as rude. A true manager would call the potential clients and APOLOGIZE and ask "What can we do to make this situation better" but no this manager gets online and makes a lie that I ranted to an 80 year old woman when I was simply trying to tell her how I did not appreciate the lack of customer service that my fiancee received. I don't care how busy you are, you treat everyone with RESPECT, you don't tell potential clients we are too busy to help you and then by the end of the conversation try to then say "we can take down your number" Debbie, lacked to give full details but will do any and everything to protect her company (I gotta respect that if they decide to step on people while doing so). I can understand an 80 year old woman being cranky but what is Debbie's excuse? She's younger and still treated me and my fiancee just like the 80 year old woman. I told her I was reporting her company to the BBB and I was writing a review so she waited until I posted a review to try and clear their company name. This is truly ridiculous. I can easily take instruction on how to do something but when you ask me what's going on, and I try to explain, don't cut me off every time I go to say something and overtalk me. My name is Andrew R. Grant. It is funny when reading these reviews because I received the same type of service like other users when calling into Bando's about catering service. It is funny when reading the reviews as well though, when reading the 1-2 star rating reviews, I knew exactly what they were talking about, and then for 3-4 more reviews to show up within the same day seems extremely fishy. Why would someone that had their wedding back in November 2011 all of a sudden decide to leave a review on the same day that another user posted a bad review. It seems as though these users were asked to leave a review or someone is impersonating other people to try and cover the bad review. Clearly the way you treat people does go a long way, and this company does fail in that area. Regardless of anything that takes place, the company does not know the true meaning of customer service, patience and their Catholic "Christian" values were not demonstrated because God does not value you treating people rude for clearly getting information. They lose out on clients and they lose out on money, by not properly taking care of people when they are "busy." I understand that they are busy but you don't neglect potential clients. I have been a regular at Bando's for many years, as far back as their Gaylynn Center location. One of the pleasures of dinning there is being welcomed by Marie. She is always cheerful and solicitous about my well being and that of my family. I have never known her not to take the time to make customers feel welcome.

I have hosted parties, with others, at Bando's and at other locations. There are never any surprises because everything is always served as promised. A few years ago family honored me with a large luncheon for a special birthday, on a Saturday, at the restaurant. The tables looked both beautiful and festive. The meal was delicious and the presented was inviting. I would NEVER consider not calling Bando's. Debbie and Marie know how to over see the food for events of any size. I have never been...
