Bel Furniture claims to have the best quality is all fallacies and lies. Spent over a $1000 plus buying furniture on labor day from their local store, I was convinced to add insurance to the purchase which I did, the delivery guys left me with a broken dining chair the day they delivered the furniture, I called them and they told me to call the office. It took another week to get a replacement dining chair. Less than a month and the furniture is already showing signs of wear and tear, and defective.
l called the Insurance company, but they denied my claim because they said it is a manufacturing defect. I called bel furniture and they asked me to wait for another week to come up and see if they can repair the chair and the ottoman. I have work, and can not just miss work to wait after I already took two days off previously waiting for Bel to deliver my furniture in the first place.
I asked if they can come in the evening after work, or Saturday, they refused. the customer serviceI was provided was terrible. Instead, they asked me to work on the time they gave me, or bring the furniture to them or leave. (take it or leave it mentality).
Now I have to miss work for their repair guys to come out and attempt to fix. They will say anything to get your business, and then give you less quality furniture.

After my last post, a manager reached out to me, I honestly thought they wanted to help. The manager told me that he was sorry for what happened, and I should send an email to him with pictures of my broken 2 furniture.
He assured me that the technicians will bring me a replacement chair for the broken one. When the technician came on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018, they came with nothing, and no replacement chair, they had no idea why they came out. I informed them that they were supposed to bring a replacement chair, they had no idea what was going on. They called the office and the Beaumont Bel furniture office informed them to just examine the furniture.
I called the manager I spoke with previously, and he said the store just informed him that there wasn’t any replacement. The manager asks the technician to take the broken chair and the broken ottoman with them to the store. No other information was shared with me.
It's almost two weeks now and still no update on my defective and less quality furniture they took. I called the store and I was informed that it will take six weeks. What happened to the replacement? Mind you I just purchased this furniture on Labor Day. I am upset and disappointed. I am writing this review so that at least one person wouldn’t go through this mess.
I wish I had this information before I made this purchase. I regret purchasing this furniture from Bel. I felt they've been unethical to me, i felt deceived. They care about moving on to the next sales and not what happens after a purchase.
On November 9th, another chair broke. I am afraid to sit and eat on my dining table because of fear of a broken chair. We bought six pieces of dining chair, now we only have just four chairs left.
My wife took back the broken chair to the Beaumont store. The attending lady was so upset at my wife for bringing back the chair. She said " I do not want to be rude, but if your family purchased a cheap dining set that is $300, what do you expect," she was very unprofessional, if Bel furniture knew they sold cheap chair, why encourage customers to buy from you? why not tell the customer, that the $300 dining sets is cheap and we won't sell to you. This was a promotion they had, we bought both dining set and living room furniture. Not everyone can afford a $5000 dining set, even though it is $100, why not set a durable product? Treat your customers with respect instead of degrading them for buying a $300 dining set and also purchasing a living room set and...
Read moreI will never recommend this furniture place to anyone. My husband and I purchased a 6 piece table set (500+ dollars) and when it came in, the first box we opened contained broken pieces among other pieces that were chipped and just looked horrible all together. The box that held the table top was water damaged and two other boxes looked like they had been crushed. We contacted the store manager who told us to return it back to the store. We did and from there they put in a new order. The manager (Murray) assured us that his backroom staff would check the table by opening each box and checking the pieces for damage before they called us to come get it. Fair enough. Round two. We have to call into the store 10 days later (after being told it would only take a week) to find out that they had checked it and it was good to go but no one called us. We came and got the second one and when we got it home we got a 1/3 of the way through when we realized that the same piece that was broken on the first go round is broken again (just not as bad) this go round and that the holes for the chair bars were drilled wrong so there is NO possible way to finish putting it together. After calling the store again they said they had to get in touch with corporate and once they did they would come get it. A week goes by (keep in mind I'm calling corporate too because I'm ticked) with nothing. I call the store again and ask for Murray who informs me that hell gladly take it back and hell waive the 25% restocking fee that corporate supposedly wants to charge us, but after we've either delivered it back ourselves ( this will make the 4th time we have had to haul this table) or after we pay 70 dollars for them to come get it. I understand we didn't pay for delivery but at what point does it become acceptable for the store to take responsibility and eat the 70 dollars to save their image? Apparently not 4 go rounds. I have never worked for or delt with a company that disregards their customers this badly. Why should we (the customers) have to return this table a second time (4th time hauling it) for something that has never been our fault?! Horrible customer service. We have all the pictures of this catastrophe leading up to the...
Read moreI usually do not post negetive reviews or products complaints, but definitely want to help save others from these trashy products and even worse customer service. I bought recliner sofa set, along with a full house furniture and mattresses from the local Bel store two years ago. The loveseat of the sofa set was faulty and not aligned in the reclining portion. Also one of the handles on the crockery cabinet I bought was lose and came off within two days of installation. Knobs on one of the dressers was rusted, and one of the bedboards came in torn from beneath. I have made multiple complaints regarding faulty furniture, and have sent pictures in multiple emails. I have had persons from furniture come visit and take photos of stuff couple times after which nothing ever happened. I’ve made multiple store visits to check, but they keep pushing me back. Yesterday the district manager happened to be in store. He pounced on us when we were trying to follow back, as if it was our fault that this look so long to resolve. Instead of appreciating the patience and apologizing for the delays caused he was trying to blame us, and holding a highly aggressive almost intimidating body langauage- not wanting to cooperate. This is frustrating as a customer that I have been patiently working with a faulty furniture that was under warranty and now I am being bitten back. I will consider suing the individual and the company for the harassment they...
