I am writing this review because I am still disturbed by the events that happened til this day. A few months back I had gotten off of work and decided to stop by Micheal's to buy some beads to replace on my husbands bracelet, I decided to walk through the store to see if I may need anything else as I don't get a chance to stop by Micheals often. I walked to the back and when I came the the front there were no cashiers at the register. I thought that they were perhaps closing the store and were not paying attention to the front. I made my way to the front doors in order to leave since no one would come to assist me and i was tired and ready to go home. But the doors did not open. I walked around the entire store to find someone and it was completely deserted. Luckily the alarm company called on the stores phone to which I answered and explained that I have been locked in this store somehow. The police came and thought it was funny that I had to slide him my ID from between the small slit of the automatic doors. He contacted the manager. When the manager came she was seemingly upset. Strange cause I'm the one locked in the store. After unlocking she asks me in a very rude tone "WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN THERE!" Read moreVery bad experience. Was told by an employee that the store is pet friendly and they even had a monkey visit the store. She held Pogo, my 6 month old pyhon, and said thank you for letting her hold him. So we were shopping for 45 mins and suddenly was yelled at by another employee that I have to leave with my snake. At this point, customers were looking at me. I said I was told Michaels was pet friendly. She said only for dogs and cats. Eliminating further embarrassment In front of the other customers, we left the cart where it sat and walked out. If I were chasing people around the store with a snake is one thing but I am a more responsible pet parent than that. Read moreHave 2 items to be framed. 7/1 drove to store & was told framer would be in today (7/2) about 11. Drive to store today & associate says she can't help me, because she can't accept my items but accepted 2 other customers are with the excuse "they already paid for their items, when I watched both ladies pay for their framing. Was told framer would be there at 4pm; so now I get to drive to Beaumont for a 3rd time for framing items. If the alternative wasn't worse you would be losing a customer. Don't care how good the framing is, this is bad customer service. So now I am here at 4pm and the framing manager is on lunch break?... Are you kidding me????
