When an RC shop is Truly passionate about the hobby, it shows. Some shops will try to sell you things you don’t need just to move inventory. Blayne does an amazing job with educating their customers about anything RC while providing competitive online pricing. I walked into this store and immediately knew this atmosphere is what I had been missing from my life. I’ve never felt like I was being pressured into buying something. If anything, I’ve been talked out of buying things because the stock components were sufficient for my needs.

They have events like comp crawls, trail runs, carpet buggy racing and drifting.

We also like to visit their outdoor rock garden to test out our crawlers (make sure to bring bug spray in the summer months)

I’ve been to a lot of hobby shops in Texas, the guys at Holcomb’s are top notch and are always willing to help and share any experiences to help with any questions and problems.. even some of the customers will help other customers! I have even been talked out of spending money there at the shop by the guys running the shop, just to make sure I wasn’t buying things I didn’t need. My mom bought me a traxxas rustler vxl about 14 years ago it was in rough shape lost the charger and remote control and had a few broken pieces!!
