JCPenney — Local services in Beaumont

If you value how people are treated then don’t shop at this location or any JCPenney. The manager is clueless and talks to employees like they’re slaves. The store is understaffed and overpriced when you can get the same or similar and even better brands for much much cheaper at Marshall’s, TJMX and Ross. I heard the manager talking to another female manager while they talked about negatively about certain employees and how terrible they are and how they can set them up to get rid of them. Every employee there looks worn down, beat down and miserable. I shop there often and know many by names and talk to them about that place and I can say I’m done shopping there after not just hearing how she treats them, but also seeing how she treats them. There is never anyone smiling or having fun there and now I can see why. I was there on Wednesday to witness so much caddy behavior from two female managers, one I know is a manager which Caroline the other may not have been one but she seemed like she was. Either way trashing and making fun of your employees isn’t what any customer wants to hear when shopping. 3 or 4 employees all told me they’re looking for a better place to work cause of how they’re treated. I’ve seen and heard enough. Shared pics and as much video as I could get on social media so people can save their time and money to shop elsewhere. Stay away from that place and also save yourself some time standing in line forever or trying to find help. It’s very sad to see employees old and even young look so burned out and miserable at their job because of a few bad seeds. Don’t believe the fake apologies either, because they don’t mean anything coming from this company. They cheat you out of your money to make you think you’re getting a good deal. Like a Puma hoodie for $59 when you can get the same exact one at Ross for $16.99!!!! They make it seem like a good deal, but they’re messing with your mind and they raise prices on items then put them on “sale” which is basically just retail and the sale is taken...

The Whole experience here was horrible my family and choose this place because we felt they had everything we were looking for aht aht everything about this place is unsatisfactory I feel they need to look into new management first why they treating people like thieves. My fiancée and I both had money on us any way I felt very uncomfortable shopping here due to my family and I getting watched the whole entire time we were shopping as if we stealing are tryna steal not my mommy rised me right never had to take nothing from no store are nobody cause she provides still due to our color the lil lady watched the whole time we shopped now I have 3 kids who’s way under age they don’t no better still in learning stage of life.... any who you can’t get down the isle mess every where and the prices where bs they tell you buy one get the other off or %50 off lies the toys here is not wroth to look at same for the shoes well I thought I was coming here to spend a nice amount off 450 the most 500 wrong spent way over. Got to check out the same lil lady who had been following us around the store all night came made the experience even worst she treated the employee Brittany as if she to was stealing are helping us steal 😳 I couldn’t believe my eye sight when she went into the box of shoes Brittany had already rung up to check if there wasn’t extra shoes I keep my cool only because my kids than she stood over her while I was making sure I wasn’t putting nothing extra the kids had then put in the basket what I don’t understand why hire someone if you feel like your gone have to stand over them to check customer out she really treated my family like criminals and the employee mora of the comment want get treated like criminals shop at Jcpenny where the prices are high and they hawk you down while shopping and treat you like thieves when it’s time to check out like really if I would’ve showed here my bank account her jaw would’ve dropped me being me I paid that high amount for my kids who...

Had a good time shopping with my daughter. The store was very clean. The clothing racks were neater than I have seen them in a long time. The sales people were friendly and helpful. The young lady that helped us, Casey, was pleasant and efficient. She asked if I found everything I was looking for and began ringing up my purchase. She asked if I had any coupons and asked if I would be paying with my J.C. Penny credit card. She checked to see how many reward points I had and if I had any rewards that could be applied to my total. I asked what the points were for and she explained. Then, I chose to purchase a wallet and my reward went toward that total. Casey helped to make my shopping experience pleasant. I've always liked shopping at J.C. Penny, but the last time the store was trashed. This time I found the clothes I was looking for (in my size) and the store was in great shape. A shopping trip like this makes me want to go back...
