Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Beaumont

We arrived at the Texas Roadhouse not long after they had opened for the evening so it wasn't crowded at all! We were promptly greeted and escorted to our table, we elected to get a booth. Our waitress came and took our drink orders, my wife had unsweetened tea, our 7 year old a Coke, and I had Sweet Tea with lemon, but I also ordered one of their house Margaritas! Our server was very attentive and came back with our drinks and we ordered an Awesome Blossom onion for our appetizer! I was very good with the dipping sauce they serve with it, but we asked our server for some ranch dip for our 7 year old and then he munched away on it!! For our meal our 7 year old wanted the kids cheeseburger and fries. My wife and I both ordered the 14 ounce Ribeyes medium rare with loaded baked potatoes and I had a house salad with ranch with mine and she had the Caesar salad with hers. Our food didn't take very long at all and they brought our boys cheeseburger and fries along with our steaks which were cooked just right! They even stood by and had us cut into steaks to make sure they were to our liking!!! The salads were very good and everything was very fresh. The steaks were delicious as were our loaded baked potatoes! Everything was really great, the inside is decorated very nice and it has a very nice ambience. The only thing was a little iffy was how loud they played the music! It was loud when we entered, but as time went on it did get turned down quite a bit! 6/2/24-- correct your internet and onsite cashier system a bone in largest rib eye steak cooked medium with a baked potato and broccoli should not cost $48. I went online first and my total with a side of corn cost $33 dollars. I went to the restaurant because I do not trust online payment being that I do not know your internet security IT person that maintains it. They person that took my order calls me back(asked me back to the cashier and says they made a mistake but your company already process my card. You know it takes an act of Congress to correct any bank mistakes. 😞 Your service before trying charging my card was 3 stars but after you guys found the mistake that should have never happen -2 stars now I have to call the bank to see if the mistake was corrected.😡 Update--so the reasoning of a correction was because the Beaumont location does not have a 27oz Rib Eye steak but the button at the carry-out still exists. The manager says her bad and hands me a new receipt with the corrected price. Ok that service was ok. People make sure you get what you asked for and pay what you asked for.(if you know you does not offer a 27oz steak why do you have it on your menu at this location?)

My family and I love Texas Roadhouse been to many in different states. When I say this is the worst one we have been to. I am 100% serious. We have gone 6 times. Trying to give it a chance since it is a new location, new employees thinking people are still in training and everything. But everytime we have gone. The service has been terrible. Employees are rude and act like us customers are super inconvenient. You expect when a host takes you to the table to an up best person saying steaks are hand cut and given an opportunity to pick your own steak, Ask how the previous visit was, how your day was and to enjoy. Here, not an option. They grab bread and butter start walking you to the table, put the utensils on the table and walk away. Not even as much as a smile. Food has been super mediocre, not what you would experience at other locations. We are the most laid back customers and try to justify people’s attitudes and service. Here. We can’t think of anything to justify. Our last visit. You could tell our waitress was having a hard day and we were more than understanding, she was great, the other servers around her were irritating, standing in the opening where you walk out with food completely in the way just chatting, almost ran into our waitress walking with refills.
