Very bad customer service, rude and not professional. They did not call ahead, came to your house and measured without calling you ahead. Being rude on the phone. Do not use them!

I have 5 spots of broken glass on my windows that need to be replaced. I called Bedford Glass & Mirror, they said they will have someone come to my house for the measurement. I asked them to call ahead so I will be at home but they did not and just measured 2 pieces out of 5 and I was not even at home. My house is on process of remodelling, so there were some crews working inside, they told me that the glass company guy just left 20 minutes ago when I got home.

I called & spoke to Peggy to ask if the guy can come back. She said he can come back whenever he will be on this way again, she did not know when.

That'fine, so I asked again if the glass guy can call me around 15-20 mins ahead, not like this time that he did not call. Peggy said that guy called but I did not answer! I did not get any missed call.. she kept saying that I did not answer the phone. She said that guy can call me next time before he comes if I just answer the phone!

Their replacement glass panes for our house failed just a couple of months, conveniently for them, AFTER their puny 5 year warranty ran out. In fact 4 out of 6 that they replaced went bad, one large window snow-whited out so badly that one could see nada through it. I asked them if they could replace these fogged windows at parts cost, plus their labor of course. Negatory, good buddy! They quoted me $1400 to replace, and I promptly found another equally rated comp in town to do it for $830, AND with a TEN Year warranty on the glass replacements. On a separate matter of scheduling I was talking to Steve, the owner about their notification by phone method (before coming out) and offered a suggestion, to which he promptly responded "Well, my business is for sale..." If only all businesses were like Bedford Glass! Been using them for ten years and they’ve never disappointed. Shawna is always extremely helpful and friendly, Will is a superb glass cutter and very helpful guy as well. Whenever I place an order, I’m shocked when they call only a few hours later telling me that it’s ready! When I go to pick up, the prices are never a surprise and never very steep, and the guys like Will always lend a hand loading my pieces, even in the extreme temperatures.
