I do not recommend going to this doctor at all. Not only does she lack empathy and bed side manners, but she was the least helpful doctor my father has ever been to. My father has gone to many doctors concerning his chronic sleep disorder and was helplessly seeking advice from Dr. Prus on what he should do, but was met with hostility and complete disrespect. He explained to her that his primary doctor referred him to her because there’s a chance that his sleeping disorder might be related to a hormonal imbalance, but she sternly rejected it and said his thyroid is normal. He then proceeded to ask are there other hormones that might cause it aside from the thyroid hormone and she once again cut him short and said his thyroid is fine. He then asked if he can be tested for other hormonal imbalances and she rejected him once again by stating that it would cost a lot of money. He kept his composure and told her that he has been struggling for many years and would like any advice on what he should do. She told him it’s illegal to give him advice, despite him making this appointment for consultation. Finally my father asked her if her reluctance to help him was due to her only specializing in thyroid hormone (which isn’t the case), and if so he’ll happily see another endocrinologist who may know the answers to his questions. She had no response. After a few more impatient exchanges she proceeded to tell him to get out of the office because she had other patients waiting, completely ignoring the fact that my father is a patient also seeking help. My father made this appointment so that a doctor would care enough to test him and patiently explain things to him, not so he can be undermined and kicked out of a patient room. Even if she couldn’t help him, the least she could have done is patiently give him advice and explain why she may not be the best person to treat him. I hope nobody ever has the misfortune of going to this doctor for help as she clearly...

I have only been to this doctors office 3 times and 2 out of 3 were horrible the first time i waited a long time in the office to be seen . the 2nd time i went i had a card for a appointment and when i signed in the girl called me up and said you dont have a appointment today i showed her the card she said sorry but there is nothing scheduled . i know what happen when i made apt the phone rang and the girl wrote the card out but never put it in the system . so i had to reschedule i was not happy . Now i see dr prus advise her what happens she said she apoligizes . now i make a appt for 6 months later the dr said she will send me a order for my blood work in mail . What a joke my apts is due and no blood work order come in mail i called office 4 to 6 times left messages after messages spoke to several people and no one called back . i even spoke to the manager of the call center who finally reached Gina the office manager who did fax me order this was very frustrating the least . Did the doctor even read any of her messages This office is not efficient . god forbid there be a real emergerncy you would never get in touch with the doctor . So i show up on friday march 1 for my apt after thursday i had foot sugrey and was a struggle to get there as it was . i sign in and was called to window the girl saids you dont have a apt today i go oh yes i do took out the apt paper that i got 6 mths ago the girl said well DR pruz is not in the office today she is in maplewood office she changed her schedule months ago i was never notified to reschule my apt , the manager come over and saids did you rec a confirmation call last night i said no .she said because you dont have a apt . i said why wasnt i contracted to advise me to reschedule 6 mths ago she said it must have slip threw the cracks . went to Dr. Prus years ago, moved on to another Doctor then came back, that was my first mistake.

Let me just start out by saying the staff is the major reason for the low score. They are very rude and the lack of communication is nauseating and absolutely zero respect for patients or their time. You cannot reach anyone on the phone, cannot get calls back, I'm not even talking about from the doctor herself, every line goes to voicemail and they NEVER call back.

TLRD; Very unresponsive, very unprofessional, and anything above the bare minimum is like pulling teeth. If you're looking or an endo....go someplace else

UPDATE:5/24 its been 1 or 2 months since I wrote my review nothing has changed, it may even be worse. A day or 2 after I posted the office magically called me 3 times (I declined to answer).
