Very disappointed in the service I received here recently.
I went shopping on saturday around lunch time to pick up a certain item. I purchased a grill matt the week before for myself. I loved it so much, I decided to go back to purchase it again for my mother for her upcoming birthday.
I have been a long time shopper of this Fleet Farm, growing up we visited it frequently. However, the last few years I have been purchasing a lot of merchandise online such as on Amazon for the convivence. I have been trying to make an effort to in person shop more to help support local businesses. I checked ahead of time to make sure the item was in stock and it was. I looked for 10 minutes up and down the grill aisle, which is where it was located the week before, and could not for the life of me find the item.
I finally saw an employee at the end of the aisle and asked for assistance. She was a middle aged woman and when I asked for her help, she rudely stated "that's not my department, you will have to ask someone else". And literally just walked away from me. I was astounded by how rude and unwilling to even try to help me. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I wanted to leave the store and not buy anything, but I tried to find another employee because I had already taken so much of my time to purchase the item.
I ended up pushing one of the help buttons in the fishing department and a young man was nice and willing to help me find it. He looked the item up on his device and found it immediately. This is the kind of service that is expected and appreciated.
This experience has left me contemplating not returning to the store, and finding alternate retail locations to buy items. This lack of customer service in employees is really going to impact a store long term and drive it out...
Read moreGreat place to go. Awesome selection. Brand names. People are always so helpful at the store in GB. Very professional and very helpful. I will always go back there. Excellent prices.
Updated 6/17/2022: been going to this location since I moved back to Green Bay since about November maybe even December? What I like about this Fleet Farm over the other one(GB off Taylor) is that the one off Taylor Street itâs hard to get in and out of -the gas station, as well as the parking lot.
This FF has a much better layout less congestion for traffic lines arenât as long or slow shelves seem to be more organized or start better the store seems to be clean youâre definitely in the bathroom but also if you wanna get gas the car wash is right there if you want to vacuum out your vehicle itâs right next to the car wash and the auto centers right next to the car wash in the gas station either way Fleet Farm is awesome . I always use the gas coupon when I get the popcorn where if you spend $50 you get five dollars off on your purchase so I always use that in the rewards points.
This store seems to have more people available to answer questions, lines arenât as long more organized cleaner and better staffed. But like I said I just like Fleet Farm! Watch for the employee pricing they do that a couple times a year where you can get 20% off on your purchase after you use your coupon and only sales⊠Free farm will have a big banner up on their store and I also appreciate that they do a discount for veterans every so often I wish they would just do it like Home Depot does or some of the...
Read moreThis place is an absolute joke. Their staff have no training and could care less about customers. I went in there yesterday looking for a replacement garbage disposal and a bunch of other things. I finally tracked someone down near the plumbing department as I had a question about the garbage disposal unit and compatibility. He said he couldn't help me, he knew nothing about it - fine. But then I had to ask him if he'd be so kind as to find a person who could help me. Then he goes off into some rant about not having anyone in the store who know anything about plumbing!! I finally persuaded him that I would like to speak to someone and he took me over to see another guy who completely blanked me. "I don't know anything about it", and he turned his back and returned to whatever he was doing.
I said to the guy that I'd have to go to Menards and his response was 'I guess so'.
I went to Menards and it was a complete transformation. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to answer my questions. I stopped near the entrance and asked one young guy if he could point me towards the shelf-liners, and instead of pointing and giving me directions he stopped what he was doing and walked with me across the length of the store and took me to what I needed.
My questions were answered on the garbage disposal and I was able to select a new unit. I also purchased window blinds, potting soil and a water dispensing unit, $550.00 total spend.
Fleet Farm is a joke....stay clear of that...
