I am currently doing a taco tour and trying to find the best chips and salsa, steak taco and lime margarita, which are being graded on a 1-5 scale. When my child is with they rate the chicken tacos. Currently the tour is at #16

Chips and salsa - Chips are very hearty and lightly salted. The salsa was very fresh and had a great kick - 4
Lime Margarita on the rocks - Really good, you could definitely drink several of these. Not sour and not too to sweet. It has a great balance - 4

The meat was very flavorful plus they hand make their tortillas which were amazing!

Flavor was good, but there was so much meat that the taco was quite dense which made it come off dry even though it wasn’t. But overall Lilli said the taco was great.
Service - 5 - The server was great. Very attentive and personable.

Delicious Mexican restaurant serving authentic, homemade cuisine in a neighborhood environment.
Retains some of the old Wertle’s Tap charm with the bar area, and the food is spectacular. Tacos, Gorditas, Sopes, Enchiladas - options to choose some of the dishes American or Mexican style. The Mexican style was delicious and I HIGHLY recommend it if you have the option.
Free chips and some of the best salsa I’ve had in a long while. Prices were VERY reasonable.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. The steak in my tacos was so overcooked it was CRUNCHY, I couldn’t even eat the one bite I took it was disgusting. The waitress went to give me my plate and spilled water all over my lap and phone. They didn’t have 3 of the things my boyfriend ordered, so he got less food for the same price. They ran out of cilantro so they put so much lettuce on my taco it was absurd. I also ordered Mexican style with no onions and got lettuce and cheese. Do not...
