vBetter than expected. Free WiFi (password written on wall by ATM) and vending machines with snacks, drinks, and laundry items. the place was not sparkling clean, but clean enough to sit down and relax without feeling grimy. It wasn't that busy when I went, so most washers and dryers were available for use. there is only one "monster washer" available and a family had to wait for me to finish using it before they could. Average wash times. Be sure to press your settings BEFORE hitting start, as there is no changing it afterwards. One restroom was enough for the amount of people there while I was there. The dryers don't seem to have the lint removed frequently enough, though, so dry times are a but longer than you'd expect (not to mention creating a fire hazard, but I'm sure the place is insured and your renter's insurance would cover the cost of your burned up laundry items). Overall, a good, clean place to do laundry. All the people using the facility were really friendly. The kids need something to take their attention, though, as several were quickly bored and began playing with open washers and clothing carts. A couple of arcade games or something might help ease their boredom. There's plenty of parking close to the front door and the sidewalk ends in a ramp by the dumpster. You could pull a laundry cart out to your car to load up clothes if you had to park further away. Besides the dryers taking a little longer than I'd like to dry my items (even at the high heat setting), this is a place I would return to if I ever needed a laundromat again. Oh, many machines will take a credit card directly if you don't want to buy a laundry card. Those and the rest of the machines use a laundry card. There is an ATM and cash changer right next to the laundry card machine. I was a little annoyed that I couldn't just put a $20 bill into the machine and get a new card ($2) with $18 credit, but the cash changer was conveniently located, so it wasn't that big of a deal. It just required extra steps in the process, so I thought it was...
Read moreThere is no one here to help with machine breakdowns. The phone machine only goes to vm. Now my clothes are in a washer FULL of water and have been for over an hour. I am very disappointed in this place. Nice place, poor service.
My response to yours:
Yes I say an hour. I plan to do my laundry on my lunch break. I put the clothes in and go grab a bite. I come back and the washer is stuck and full of water. Ok, the readout says "LID", so i open and close the lid a couple of times, nothing. I then look to find a worker or a number. there are probably 50 signs in that place and a few menus for pizza places and local restaurants. I read through the sign that tells me there are 2 ways to start the machines as this one had the most information on it. Most of the others are load capacity signs. I look all around the establishment and somehow missed the ONE sign that has your phone number on it. So, I Google the place and get the number from Google. When I dialed that number it directed me to leave a message on Facebook or your Google page. By this time I have already lost my wash time, the time I messed with the lid to see if I could get it to drain, reading signs looking for your number, doing an online search and listening to vm. The 5 min it took you to respond back to my message telling me to call you, getting direction from you i would have to stick with it cost me close to an hour. I do appreciate you starting another washer for me as well as offering to pay the $1.75 for the dryer however my review stands as having only placard with a number on it in the entire place is less than par. (none on the storefront glass either). My review stands. If you wanted to make it that easy for someone to get in touch with you, there would be placards and numbers posted on a few (if not all) of the walls as well as the storefront glass. You are very personable but make it a game to be able to reach...
Read moreI notice his response and wanted to make sure that I posted this TODAY was the first time this man has ever tried to contact me and that is because I posted my review on Facebook in a group where he had me deleted because he didn't like what i had to say he's trying to cover his tracks. I have nothing against this man other then him being a liar /// This guy has friends and family giving him these 5 stars put of the 9 months I have been going here I have NEVER SEEN A STAFF person except once who came in to clean and close and didn't know how to contact anyone because the dryer not only took double the price of my wash card but never started and could only tell me to contact them on Facebook which I did and never received a response so let me give you a little truth about this place the washers and dryers are over priced but they are the only laundromat in town with the big washers and dryers they can do that it's if you do the math with the dryers you coming out of more money when you add to you then to let it stop and start the dryer again the staff is NEVER THERE and the man who owns it is very unprofessional so the almost $200 a trip I spend every time I come in will NO LONGER BE...
