Went in March of 2018 for an expired sticker for a classic car I was restoring,(Expired 10 months). Next year renewal may 2018. Accepting the fact that I would have to pay the expiration fee. Was told by a nice gentleman that if he did the transaction now (March) that he'd have to charge for that year and the next. He proceeded to help save me half of that by telling me that if I waited a couple months and come back in May that I could pay the usual registration fee. I was like, that was nice of him. Soooo, I go back in May and walk up to the counter, met by a woman named "Sue" and get my new registration, throw it in my leather envelope and walk out, get home, the whole time thinking "what a cool place". Had to leave immediately upon arriving home and forgot to put the sticker on the car so I called my girlfriend to have her do it to avoid an ordinance fine. Get back home, thinking everything is fine. August 2018 I move the car from the spot it was parked so I could detail it. Low and behold what do I notice? A May 2018 sticker on the plate. I look at my registration to find I was charged $101+the +20 late fee for 27 days of registration. Upset, I call the very next morning as they were closed when I noticed. Guess who answers the phone? Sue again, I explain the situation to her and what I was told about waiting. She proceeds to tell me that "they" should've caught that and just replated the car. Basically telling me it was a mistake by someone not paying attention. Didn't get the name of the person that did this "mistake" on the day of the transaction. So I describe her to the person on the other end of the line, what do I get? "that was me" in a soulless monotone reply. So I asked "Sue" (the same person who criticized herself) what can I do? She says, "I guess you'll just have to register it again". Another $121 with no option now to just get a plate. From one nice fellow trying to help out a fellow American to a completely arrogant dictator.... So no, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Go to a different facility or an independent for your needs. You'll be better respected by places who have the inner ability to admit mistakes and not blame others. Especially when that other is "you". That's why I love America, the freedom to choose who you are...
Read moreWent this morning to take my son to get his driving permit and was there at 8:00am. They opened at 7:30am.. I was given a number of 27. People had to wait outside and it looked as if maybe 20 people waiting. About 20 minutes later the next number was called and it was number 87.. so about 40 people in front of us.. long story short we were there until they closed at noon without being called and were told to come back another day. They made it to number 15. The 4 hours that we were there waiting I would guess around 40 more people showed up at random times and were serviced, granted some were simple things like needing to purchase a sticker (which can be done online by the way) but these people did not need to take a number and as we waited and watched these people enter and leave the average time they were in the building was 10 minutes. You would think they would have a more efficient way to service the community.. maybe make everyone take a number regardless of what service is needed and for the ones who need stickers to inform them of the option to buy it online and it would be there choice to wait in line or not.. I’m disappointed and frustrated becuz now we have to do this all over again next Saturday morning and it could turn out the same way it did today. Get it...
Read moreCompletely dreadful. There was a line of people with approximately 6 customer service reps. at the counter. One was reading the paper and reviewing the ads. I started out with the lady at the far left. She was okay. I then needed to talk with someone else to do a title, registration, and custom plates for my deceased mother's car. Unfortunately, I got the guy reading the paper. It was clear that I was a major inconvenience. He spent quite a while doing something with the computer. He then had me fill out a vanity/personalized plate form. After doing that, I said, "Don't you need to know what type of vanity plate I want?" He responds in a very disgusted tone, "Jesus....why didn't you tell me that? Most people tell me that upfront." I said, "I'm not most people, and I don't appreciate your rude approach here." Long story short, I told him that I would go elsewhere, and his comment was, "That is up to you." I'll take my business to another facility that will treat its customers with courtesy. Clearly, there is absolutely no supervision of what is going on. It was disgraceful. I expect better from our state employees. If you don't want to work, quit, and let someone who needs and wants a...
