I came here to write a review of the worst pharmacy ever and looking at the other reviews, it looks like I'm in good company.
Good thing this guys just a pharmacist and not a surgeon, the kind of person who becomes a doctor for money and not to help people and doesn't give a flying you-know-what about customers and their medications.
The rest of the staff in the pharmacy is also completely incompetent, every month I have to call them and hold their hand and walk them step by step through the process of ordering my medication to make sure it's ready on time, why can't you just do your job?
I waited 20 minutes on hold to speak with the pharmacist, finally a girl answered. I asked if she was the pharmacist, nope "he's on the line with another customer." Oh really? What's he doing, reading them his new novel over the phone, titled "how to run a pharmacy if you're trash" ? Maybe he's calling Comcast to brag that his customer service is even worse than theirs?
"Would you like to keep waiting on hold?" In your dreams lady.
So naturally I went into the store to find this mysterious pharmacist that is harder to track down than the lochness monster, or big foot. A miracle happened, the prescription that was "maybe probably out of stock who knows" just so happens to be there! So he told me to wait for my prescription it should only be a few minutes. and as I'm waiting in the pharmacy lobby they had the nerve to text me that my prescription is ready rather than calling my name (which they did for the last guy in the lobby waiting) So of course, after getting the text, I think they will be calling my name any minute now. Nope, had to go up to the counter, shocker, it's ready. I said "you know I've been waiting here right?" Yes, they know, and the cashier pharmacist technician, just as rude, confirmed that she knew that too. Well, how lovely.
Thanks for the text alert pharmacist demon, when I'm SEVEN FEET AWAY FROM YOU, how appropriate and professional of you guys. Thank you for the courtesy, NOT.
"Do you have any questions for the pharmacist?" AS A MATTER OF FACT I DO Is your life really that miserable that you want to make it nearly impossible for people to get their MEDICINE? Why would you choose a job in the medical field if you're that cold of a person? Were you born this way or did you become a piece of work wack job on a power trip slowly over the years?
This place is the biggest wreck of a pharmacy I have ever seen. Ever wonder what your rear end looks like but too lazy to bend over in the mirror? Just go to this Walgreens pharmacy and look behind the counter you'll see a dozen of them not doing a thing except WASTING YOUR TIME.
Seriously guys GET....
Read moreIf I could give them zero stars in would. Stay away from his place. They could care less about your health. My insulin was ready to be picked up according to the notices sent to me, get back into town and stopped by friday evening to pick it up since I needed it for the weekend as I was out, and going out if town. Turns out, the scrip was held up by another pharmacist who didnt agree with the dosage. Never mind looking at my history for the last 20 years since it had not changed. They stated I couldn't have my insulin due to this. The would not contact the pharmacist who had the question, and had not called the doctors office either. So now it's 7pm on friday and what am I supposed to do. They refused to let me have the insulin where this could be worked out on monday. I was told this was my problem and was up to me to get it resolved. No one has even talked to me about this as the med was ready to be picked up 48 hours prior. The smart ass manager said looks like you will be going to the ER than because it not their problems. Then they abruptly told me they were closing the pharmacy to take lunch. No customer service except total unprofessionalism. So I was left without insulin for the weekend. Not that I actually need it to survive. I will never got to another walgreens...
Read moreThe trouble with this establishment is not the main store, but in the pharmacy. I have visited here after school hours, during lunch times, earlier in the morning and middle of the week, as well as weekends. With that in mind, the facility is either severely under-staffed or not trained to fill prescriptions in a timely fashion. After 3 months of stopping by to have my child's prescription filled (each time, I provided my ID and insurance card), it was discovered that they had been billing the wrong insurance. After stopping in today (May 2nd), I was told after being asked to wait for 15 minutes (while the pharmacy had my DL, insurance and prescription) that the prescription would not be able to be picked up for an hour and a half. Now, I am not paid by the company to wait, nor do I have so long to waste. I can go to a number of other establishments which have a 15-20 minute wait, without having so many workers present, even at a busy or not so busy hour. I recommend O'Brien and Dobbins Pharmacy or even (gasp!) Walmart Pharmacy over Walgreens, because of so many poor...
