CT's Hobbies — Local services in Belvidere Township

I stopped by CT’s Hobbies yesterday looking for a set of d10 dice, something I hadn’t been able to find anywhere else. I had called ahead, and as soon as I walked in and mentioned it, someone immediately went over to the dice bin and started helping me look. The owner (or whoever was behind the counter) even took the time to apologize for a small miscommunication (which was totally on me - I didn’t mention I needed ten d10s, just that I was looking for d10s).

The store was clean, bright, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. While I’m not personally into board or card games, I could definitely see this being a great hangout spot if I was. Friendly staff, good vibes, and they had exactly what I needed when nowhere else did. Highly recommend...

Everyone is always friendly and Corey will always help a new player. if you are new into a game such as magic the gathering this is the exact type of store that you want to visit. The staff and players will always help somebody new and take their time to make sure that they are having fun. Friday night magic is a great tournament and it is fun even for a beginner who doesn't really care if they want to win but just want to get the experience. They also offer other games such as Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh and they even do some board games. They also have a selection of comic books along with board games...

When Disney Lorcana the first chapter first came out out. They were selling single packs. 3 per costumer, they said they were selling them for MSRP LOL.. $6.99 each. If you buy 24 ( a booster box) it comes out to a $30 mark up after tax. Not only do these guys think you’re stupid, they scalped them and lied to their costumers when in reality these are $5.99 MSRP. I took my business to everything games in buffalo grove where they are honest with their costumers and sell they’re products at MSRP and even when Disney Lorcana was still hard to get, they...
