The Hidden Aerie — Local services in Belvidere Township

Wish had option of 4.5 stars! Such a nice Cozy little venue, ideal for Micro-Wedding Receptions, easily seating 80 or so guests in the smaller half space room we used. They have a functional Kitchen-esque room with ample table space, industrial sink & refrigeration. They had 2 staff there, handling any needs & bartending.

They were on the mark naming this venue spot "Hidden". It is a bit challenging to find. From the outside, it feels almost like an alley-way to the parking which is a short walk away. Then you discover a simple standard glass door with their name & logo on it. No other big outer signage. That can be a good or bad thing. Since the Reception I attended was set up for 80-100 guests, the tables were set fairly close together, allowing space for the DJ corner, dance floor & cake/dessert table. The venue was beautiful, it’s a shame that we were ripped off by staff and management though. We paid for 6 hours for a small baby shower which we cleaned up 100% and were charged an extra hour that they claimed we took but have little to no proof that we took that extra hour. Heather specifically claimed that they have time stamps from cameras that did not account for daylight savings time. I would not recommend booking with these money hungry people.
