Royal Tint N Dip — Local services in Bend

I brought my car in because it needed a tint. This was back in November 2020. I believe it was 20 on the front and 5 in the back and rear. From far away it looks great, but up close, theres some noticeable inconsistencies. I have two problems with the job done. The first problem I have is 3 separate scratches in the back window. They range between 1-2”. I noticed them the morning after I got it done. I don’t use my backseat for anything, so I’m 100% sure it wasn’t caused by me. The second problem I have is a hair that’s around half an inch. It’s located in the rear window, is between the tint and window, and is bent in a “u” shape. I have a fear of the tint bubbling due to the air outline of the hair. The last problem I have is some lint underneath the tint. It’s began to bubble, and I’ve only had it for a few months. At first we thought they were the soap bubbles, but after the soap bubbles cleared, the lint stayed. Again, concerned about bubbling.

Their mission on their website says “to make sure our customers are happy and satisfied with the work we do for them. If you’re not happy, believe us when we say, we will also not be happy”. I just called to get a quote today 7/28/25 at 11:05 am. This guy quotes me $450 dollars immediately.Noninfo on what kind of tint, brand, or what I'm looking for, just $450 for tint. I told him I'm shopping around and he interrupted me saying " Go find cheaper" where not cheap, _we're the best" ....Just because you charge the most doesn't make you the best, nor does it make your potential customer "Cheap" I deal with professionals so GOODBYE Royal tint, I'm gonna dip and let everyone else know the should do the same. Rude!

Wow! They just left a very long winded response. Complete dishonesty no such conversation took place about this tint or that, hence my response. If you want dishonesty go to these guys. Quality?? Had an 8 am appt that was confirmed by text several times to have my semi truck windows tinted. I had rerouted my haul the night before so I could make my 8 am appt, which meant that I had very little sleep the night before, but I was ok in doing so because this place had great reviews and it was the only time I could get in. I arrived 10 till 8. My wife was there to pick me up promptly to bring me home to shower, but no one was there. We waited for 15 min and I told him we were there, I think we woke him up and he said he could be there in 10 min. Unfortunately, that wouldn’t work as my wife had another appt. I’m ROYALLY appalled that this business owner did not show up for the said appt time, especially since I had received two texts the day before confirming my 8 am appt.
