Mercanti Bay Area Estate Sale Liquidator — Local services in Benicia

I went to an estate sale hosted by Greg Mercanti. Items were well organized and the prices were really good. I've gone to many estate sales in the bay. The Mercanti family was attentive and pleasurable. They really helped the people attending the sale with pricing and assisting with questions and helping put items in your car. Many times at estate sales and the liquidators are not that friendly or helpful( like they don't care if you buy anything or not and dont want to be pestered) That was not the case here, what an awesome family business. I will another one Mercanti. I'm not friends with the family nor do I know the Mercanti's until today. I read about the one poor review, complained I'm complained that one of the people running the sale had tattoos and he wasn't comfortable. Really? C'mon now! I have tats and so does a huge part of the population. I looked the reviewer up and it seems he has a lot of negative reviews for a plethora of businesses. That's a shame because I feel its only one bitter grape. Running estate sales is hard work,! It was 108 degrees today and they helped people carry their cars. I'd say that's pretty good service! I purchased yesterday some beautiful furniture and very hard to find items from this company. And wanted to share my experience with everyone. There were two people that helped me when I got there, a very sweet and respectful young lady (I didn't catch her name) and a gentleman named Gregory, who was very knowledgeable and professional. I can recommend this place to anyone, being in sales myself I can appreciate it when I come across people who are so honest, caring, respectful and informative about their different products. My neighbors recently hired Mercanti Estate sales. Mercanti was very proactive with notifying my household as well as surrounding neighbors of the estate sale. It was much appreciated that Mercanti sent notification letters to explain that there would be higher traffic during this event. It was my 1st estate sale and I wasn't sure what to expect. A few rules: no bags/large purses, large heavy coats and apprx. 15 people at a time. That made sense to me as I walked in, it gave the Mercanti employees the time to help and address shoppers with questions. I was able to purchase many items and not feel rushed.
