Old Haven Pizza — Restaurant in Bensalem Township

Other hotel guests were carrying thin, flat, boring pizza into the lobby for late-nite dinner. That did not look appetizing to me. They must have searched for pizza places nearest to the hotel.

Not me. I searched for “highest-rated” pizza places. Results yielded four or five restaurants, and I chose this one because their website said deep-dish pizza, which is a personal favorite, and which was the polar opposite of the bland paper-thin pizzas I had seen that evening.

I drove a few miles to check it out. Very nondescript storefront; I would have overlooked it if I hadn’t already seen the pictures on their website. My son and I ordered a large pepperoni and bacon pizza.

It was perhaps the best pizza I have ever tasted. Ever. Each bite was pure heaven. Great deep dish crust, great sauce, excellent cheese, tasty pepperoni, and crispy crumbled bacon covering the entire pie, edge to edge.

My son and I made everyone else in the hotel lobby jealous, because even they could clearly see that our pizza was superior to theirs. We stuffed ourselves with three pieces each, and shared the last two pieces with disappointed-boring-pizza hotel guests, just because we knew it would be worth it to see and hear their satisfaction.

This has been five weeks ago now, and I still can’t stop talking to everyone about the pizza that changed my life. It’s too bad you’re 3 hours away from my home, because nobody around here makes it like you do,...

I ordered 3 large pizzas and 19 FLAT wings I reiterated to the person I want all flats and could be sure this would happen as I explained I ordered b4 and requested all flats but did not get them!!! I get my order and I have mostly drumsticks and few flat wings

I call and a new person says it was the last of the wings in the pack so I say then I should have received a call and told this because would not have ordered them!!! They tell me to send back my entire order of pizzas and wings before they will bring me a new order!!! I had company I am feeding for the eagles game so unfortunately sad to say we will not order again from Old Have… the pizza is good but the SERVICE is AWFUL I spent $75 and that’s the service I received!!!!

I will say that the delivery driver was the ONLY pleasant thing about this experience maybe he can teach the restaurant how to give...

First I want to thank my neighbor for recommending this place because we have never had a bad meal from these folks and I don’t expect to. Not only is the pizza outstanding so are the steak sandwiches and the fries are perfect. I like my fries a little crispy so when I ask for extra well done, they understand the assignment and get it right every time. They are super friendly on the phone and in person. I usually pick up our order on the way home because it’s our Friday night go to after work.
