This is a beautiful shop with friendly and helpful employees, owner, and customers! My teen daughter has been crocheting for just a year and she was struggling to work with a particular type of yarn. I don't have the expertise to help her so I took a chance that someone at Yarn Alchemy would be able to help. I'm so glad we went! The owner could not have been more helpful, she knew exactly what needed to be done and even printed out an article with instructions. It was exactly what she needed and it worked! My Fiancée was so excited to visit this yarn store. We're moving up to Bentonville in 2 weeks and she was so stoked that this place was so close to where we will be. We went in there and not one person greeted us. Not a hello a welcome in, can we help you find anything. Nothing we walked around for 5 to 7 min without a word spoken to us. Instead we just got to listen to 6 to 7 ladies just chatting and gossiping it up. We watched another group come in and the same thing no hello or welcome. So glad to finally get to this shop! I needed yarn therapy (IYKYK) and Yarn Alchemy definitely provides it. The store is not large but is well organized and the light is good for seeing the amazing color collections. I was surprised by the tools and kits for fiber projects in addition to knitting and crochet. Bear Creek Felting is one of my favorite companies!
