Stoic Brews Alternative — Local services in Bentonville

I have had celiac disease for 15 years and this is the best gluten free establishment I have ever been to. I am not normally a review writer, but this is my favorite place to go to in all of Bentonville.

FOOD & DRINK: The establishment is 100% gluten free so no stress for those who have celiac. All their beer is so refreshing after a workout, long day at work or really just any day of the week. I suggest getting a flight to try them all - the Blonde is my go-to. When it comes to food, I have tried just about everything on the menu at this point and you cannot go wrong with anything. My personal favorite are their pizzas - cheesy and the best gluten free crust I have ever had.

SERVICE: Stoic is the first place I have been to where every person who works there feels like a friend of mine. Each person is kind, thoughtful and makes you feel like family. Good people and good food! The owner makes his rounds and truly enjoys getting to know those that come to visit them at Stoic.

ATMOSHPERE: Stoic is perfect for a causal date, an outing with family or even if you want to come alone! Any age is welcomed and can have fun. They have indoors (chairs, couches and bar stools) and outdoors spaces (Couches and chairs). They also will host activities posted on their Instagram page so be sure to follow them there.

Met some friends here and we arrived late as we had to drop our daughter off somewhere first. It was a Saturday at 6:30 and the atmosphere was less than desirable. We did get welcomed in by a nice lady, which no complaints here! Then we sat down and there was zero background noise…. Not sure what I expected but the longer we sat (without being offered a drink) the longer I was losing my mind. At one point they pulled the screen down and turned the basketball game on (its final four) and they I guess told our friend that they aren’t a sports bar. Our friend told them well… after we finish our first drink we will be leaving then. So they turned the screen onto the game with no sound. The sound turned on for a little bit then turned off, along with the basketball game. I’m sure this is more about me than Stoic, it’s just not me or my husbands vibe. The waitress finally came over and asked if we wanted anything, to which we responded no thanks… and left our friends to finish their drinks and charcuterie and we came Nextdoor to the hub. We definitely won’t be back,...

Everything here is gluten free, but that doesn’t mean it’s just for those who are gluten free- my Fiancé is not gf and also enjoyed the food and brews. It was so nice to order off a menu and not worry about a thing, and be able to share!

The pizzas were my favorite, so much so that we ordered one to go. They were understanding of allergies and able to modify toppings for us.

The staff were so personable and knowledgeable about their products, the owner was delightful. The atmosphere was relaxed, great for a group outing or a date night. The prices were fair. And the food and beer was 10/10. Will definitely be returning.

Hoping to see them expand their menu in the future, it’s quite small now. But even for a light bite and the beers alone it was phenomenal. Thinking about doing our wedding rehearsal dinner here cause it was that good.
