Katz Modern — Local services in Berkeley

On our drive, I was intrigued by the cat on the building and decided to check out the place because we saw the door open. That place really is a hidden gem. The showroom is filled with modern furniture and objects. There was also few unique items, that I’d never seen before. It almost felt like it could be a museum because of the history of the items. The owner, Mike, definitely has a unique taste. He also had a lot of stories to tell about his stuff. I wish I wasn’t living overseas, there was so many cool and modern items that I would have wanted...

What an amazing selection of modern art! They have so many unique items and the owner is very knowledgeable. I can't say enough about this shop, they have some of the finest modern furniture I've ever run across and the collectibles are amazing. I'll absolutely be returning to Katz Modern and highly recommend...

Sorry, the place is never open even though it shows open until 5pm on Saturdays. Also it's a real mess and the owners are not friendly. Needless to say I'm not returning. Update: Mr. Katz has a filthy mouth and no respect for the customers or the poor girl that works for him. So...
