We will always find a fun park to explore! ✨ Hidden in the heart of Berkeley, San Pablo Park isn’t your average neighborhood park, it’s a living piece of local history. Established in 1914, it’s one of the city’s oldest parks and still buzzes with community energy, from lively weekend baseball games and tennis courts to playground laughter and neighborhood picnics under giant old trees. It’s where generations have gathered, played, and celebrated, a true Berkeley gem that feels like home to everyone who visits. 🌳💛 #californiaparks #berkeley #sanpablopark #norcal #bayareaparks

This park has come a long way over the years and has some of the best play structures, sports courts, and open grassy fields in the area. I wish it had more fencing around the play areas near the street. There is still an adult population that hangs out there so I do still worry about possibility of fighting or car breaks ins or gunfire which has been common there over the years but from what I saw today- it was all good. There were 3 birthdays with bouncy houses, a karate demo, a soccer game, a tennis class, and kids playing all over age appropriate play structures and swings and teetertots.

Great little park. Nice big open field (closed in the winter), Public restrooms, basketball and tennis courts, baseball field, picnic tables, and playground. Some off leash dogs who are not always under voice command, so if you have a reactive dog, beware of the hoomans who like to let the pooches run up to leashed dogs (you know the type, rules don't apply to them). There are ill trained children/toddlers who do the same. Nice park, just be aware of the selfish folx.

Open Spaces for everyone everyday, every part of the park, and it is always clean by the people who use it!!! A truly exciting place to explore: Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts & Practice Wall, Soccer Fields, Softball and Baseball Fields, Open Greens for sitting, and space for Dogs to Fetch!!! San Pablo Park is nestled in Pleasant Neighborhoods with People from different Ethnic Backgrounds and plenty of parking around the park without fears of reprises from the locals!!! A "Real Upbeat" place where you pursuit your "Atheletic Endeavours" and refuse receptacles are everywhere and Drinking Fountains are clean and plentiful!!! I have seen Joe Morgan playing Tennis there...who will 'YOU'...

San Pablo park has about 6 basketball nets (3 courts), 6 tennis courts, 2 baseball diamonds, 2 playgrounds for kids, bbq grills, benches, and lots of open field. I’ve even seen a farmers market pop up every once in awhile over the weekends

I’m constantly walking my dog around the park and she loves it. There is always someone at the park being active, but it’s never too crowded. I’m also pleasantly surprised with how clean the park is too.

Unfortunately they close the big grassy parts during the rainy months to protect the grass, but the rest of the park is open the whole year, and that just means that the grass is in great condition...

I went to San Pablo park to help celebrate our friend, Bobby Eddins, who passed exactly one month ago today. Before he passed, Bobby and his loyal and dedicated diverse friends, frequented this park often. Many in the group can still be found playing basketball, dominos, or sitting around enjoying each other's company. We enjoyed a delicious BBQ feast which would have made Bobby proud. I loved the numerous children, families, and activities. Parking is dicey on weekends, but possible. Clean, safe (?), and popular. My son went to a day care across the street from the park 42 years ago!😊 I had a...
