We are so happy Roses on Adeline has opened - what a great addition to the neighborhood!
We got to attend a soft opening dinner and have already been back multiple times. Roses is first and foremost a bar serving up excellent cocktails and a curated selection of local beers as well as range of wines. This also means it is 21 and over only. We have tried most of the cocktail menu across our visits so far and I would order everything again. Some tasty and inventive gin cocktails (rose fizz with rose water and cocoa butter with a pistachio crumble rim was an unexpected delight), some frozen slushy options for warm summer nights, and great twists on classics (old fashioned, martini). There are NA drink options that also sound refreshing and I look forward to trying those in future visits as well.
The food is excellent - we have had the ceviche multiple times (halibut, really tasty, I lap up all the leche del tigre with a spoon), burger (indulgent fancy Big Mac, we share one and its perfect - the fries that accompany are also great), a nice salad with katsu-style chicken (and bacon, avocado , blue cheese and a lemony dressing — swoon). Have also had the oyster mushrooms and the meatballs, both of which we will order again and again - great snacking/sharing plates. At the soft opening we had the deviled eggs - they were so good but so far haven’t made it back in the regular menu rotation yet, fingers crossed they will make them on occasion because they were perfect bites and pair so well with a cocktail! They have a few dessert options we have yet to try because we keep opting for another cocktail instead but one is a pavlova and as a half-kiwi I will be judging it soon enough.
Great ambiance and beautiful decor, really gorgeous bar and its relaxed setting make it an ideal spot to just pop in for a drink, or you can get a little fancy and dress up to make a whole night of it.
Hope you check...

Let’s talk food because everything here is a treat. I started with their cocktails, and wow they are so well-balanced and delicious, the kind that instantly sets the mood for the night. 🍸 Then came the chocolate budino, and let me tell you… it’s pure perfection. The pistachio topping adds just the right amount of sweetness and crunch, making every bite unforgettable. 🍫✨

Read moreNight was a little off but ended up wandering into Roses' while Francisco was behind the bar and Joseph had just finished up. The caliber of drinks, food and company was exactly what I needed. Francisco was attentive and amicable, while holding town a full bar with grace.
I went for the first drink on the menu some fancy gin drink that tantalized my imagination and then defied expectation in both presentation and taste, with beautiful form and an atmosphere that made me feel like i had been a regular for years.
Rose's boasts tastefully original cocktails, and unpretentious but one of a kind spins on classic dishes, the burger I had stood out with strong delicious foundation, fresh ingredients, but went above and beyond a horseradish sauce that worked as an ideal compliment to the rest of the burger.
Second I tried the Japanese Manhattan ( i think ) which was ideal for winding the evening down to comfortable close.
This place is definitely now on my list, and should be on yours, thanks Francisco, Luis, and Joseph for...
