Been coming here for several years now and the club is always very clean and sanitary. Even on the super busy nights the staff keeps the bathrooms in clean and working condition which is something since most of these guys are disgustingly slobs. The staff is always been professional and courteous. There can be quite the wait for a room on busy nights and the line to get in can get very long especially on the weekends, but if you don’t want to stand in line and want to get on the top of the waiting list you can purchase there VIP membership. Which if you go only once a week it’s still worth it. There a dry sauna, a steam room, and 9 or 10 showers in the steam room area by the jacuzzi, and two restrooms up front and in the back there are two more restrooms and 4 more showers. There’s a gym area with full weightlifting setup and there’s a back dark room with a sling and the DJ booth in the back. There’s also a lounge in the front by the check in counter that has charging station for you phone and there’s vending machines that all take cash or card or digital wallets also. I was looking forward to coming here but it was a disappointing experience. The guy who checked me in wasn’t very helpful and the other clientele there were rude and stuck up. Im older and heavier and while there I was the target of rude comments about my body. Nobody is perfect. I feel sorry for the people who made such comments for it’s a glaring sign of their insecurity. Enjoy your freedom to express your gay American selves. Hello everyone, Today, July 1st, between 2:00 PM and 5:45 PM, I visited Steamworks and had a bad experience. As I was leaving, a short, Latino employee with glasses came to help me. He asked my last name, and I answered. He laughed, made a comment, and repeated my full name out loud. I think it's disrespectful and inappropriate to do that. I didn't say anything to him because other customers and employees deserve respect, but this person doesn't know how to respect, and protect customer privacy.
