I had been looking forward to visiting this store and as I entered, I heard the customers in front of me being offered a mimosa to enjoy while they browsed. I fully expected to be offered one as well; however, I must not have passed muster because the gentleman offering the beverages looked directly at me and did not make the same offer. I noticed several other women in the store enjoying their complimentary mimosas and other customers entered after me were not offered a beverage, so obviously there is a screening process that takes place. Apparently my denim shorts, flip flops, and Life Is Good tee shirt put me in the undesirable category. Shame on you Mr. Pretentious Button-down Striped Shirt with Shorts. Read moreAmazing and wonderful boutique shop with great finds for everyone, be it a hostess, wedding, baby, birthday or gift for yourself you are bound to find it at the Rooster's Nest. This shop also is always changing up their displays and stock so that it's always fresh.
As for what another reviewer stated about rude staff, that is absolutely NOT the case. And there is a sign on the door about no cell phone use (and might I just say if the call was so important, than why are you on an important call while you're shopping...that's rude). The women that run the store and Sally the owner are all fantastic and super friendly. And they have patience, even when a customer brings in children and will help to try and keep them busy so you can shop. I just wish there was one...
Read moreI stopped into this store yesterday after visiting the postal store in the same plaza. The place just smelled so amazing, that I had to ask the lady working what was I smelling. She referred me to a grapefruit candle. It was a little pricey, but it was just worth it to me. I am excited about this purchase and will be back to this...
