RUN away from this place! I don’t think it’s possible for me to articulate the trauma and lasting damage I experienced at the hands of David at this ā€œspaā€. I went there for a simple root touchup because my regular colorist was unavailable. I was platinum blonde and my color was stunning. Without asking me, David made me a brunette. He said it was temporary and I asked how long it would take to get that out and could it be washed out now. He washed my hair in bleach and turned it orange. I look like a copper penny. The manager was horrified and aware of his abusive treatment to me in addition to his negligence and tried her best to see if they could highlight my hair again. However, the damage done to my hair by him washing it in bleach has quite literally left it irreparable. There is nothing to be done. David never apologized. In fact he argued with me looking right at me with brown hair and telling me I was blonde. In the span of two hours, I went from platinum blonde to brunette to copper. What is perhaps most devastating is that had he left the brunette temporary color in, it would have faded and we could’ve highlighted over it. Under no circumstances is rinsing your hair in bleach an alternative or an accepted practice in this industry. The manager is a lovely woman who admitted that everything he did was wrong and she was appalled. She also assured me that the owner would call me. And the owner never did. No one should go to this place. Never in my life have I had a man destroy any aspect of my physical body without my permission and with a vengeance. My hair is irreparable and this has been told to me by two people so far that I have seen. There is no corrective color. There is nothing that can be done. It has to be cut very short to eliminate as much of the damaged hair as possible. It is just the most awful experience I’ve ever had anywhere. No one should go here. It will take years, literally for this to grow out and to get back what I once had. updated to say the owner Carol, who has professed to be willing to help me, has refused to give me the formulas and products used on my hair to achieve the greatest success recreating what i had. She knows better than most that any professional will choose products based on what was used previously. Just further reason to stay away from this craziness. Absolutely refusing to give me the information. Because she knows how much her employee screwed up. And that is more important to her than restitution. I’m thinking you don’t need to know anything else.

I spontaneously stopped to get my highlights done and was genuinely thrilled to have Sam do my hair. What a pleasant and enjoyable surprise!

Called the salon and explained my hair crisis (botched cut at a different salon) and possibly being interested in color. Came in and all was well but it is very clear when someone does not have experience dealing with a certain hair type (curly thick Hispanic hair). I went in with a picture of a short bob because my haircut was botched and layers were extremely short in the front leaving all of these weird angles in my hair. Stylist was adamant I could not get the bob I wanted. She then proceeded to get a second opinion from someone I never met or spoke to who was attending another client already and who never even walked over to see my hair. She trimmed off 3.5 inches, texturized a little, but I was clearly unhappy and she apologized and said she’s sorry she can’t fix it after all was said and done. I literally spotted other stylists looking over at what she was doing and eye reacting behind their masks. I then told her I wanted waves in my blow out so she added a curl and all these products that left my hair looking extremely puffed and feeling extremely brittle like after using hairspray. They did give me a nice little welcome bag though (probably with the products that made me hair feel dead). I thought I couldn’t do a thing with my hair before and now I just am fuming mad. I want to give the girl the benefit of the doubt but I should have known when she was suggesting Brazilian keratin treatments on my curly and healthy hair of all things to stop it right then and there.

Also a side note for the owner: your outlets should not short when blow outs are being done. Stuff happens but the way these two girls acted was like it’s a regular occurrence for them to turn on their blowers and have one short out. Also I see your replies to other paying customers and just so you are aware I was neither scanned for my temperature nor asked to wash my hands upon entering. I sat next to someone while my hair was being washed right after someone was sitting in the seat before me. I did not see sanitizing of any kind happen between client usage, and someone entered without a mask while I was in the waiting area and moved around freely. Protocols are followed loosely at best is the...

I have been a costumer for 12 years . U used to love this place . Lots of things have been going on in the past months .

Last month I saw the desk attendants laughing on a costumer from back , whispering to each other how fat she was .i feel inconfortable just to see it The way they made fun on her . The massage place is a place to relax not to be self conscious , vulnerable .

Anyway , I should say something but I didn't and I regretted. Something changed over there , it is sad , that place used to be my favorite , maybe new ownership or manager . I called several times to try to schedule massage and they never pick up the phone , I left several message that were never returned . I walked in today , in attempt to book a massage for any day this week , they said that it were all booked through the end of the month ( today is the 17 ). They anuncies a blow dry for $25,00 but all depends on the person that they book for you , you never know how much you will really pay because all depends on the hair stylists , some of it charges more and you just find out when you go to the front desk . They offer me a botanical treatment for $25,00 and I decided to do and then after she wash my hair she apply this liquid and putted my hair in a bun , she told me to keep the liquid and wash the hair at home in the next day , so o walk to the front desk to pay and she charge me extra $10,00 just for a bun that I even asked for .

I am happy to pay for my services and leave a generous tip too but I don't like the " snik in charge ",it does not make any sense .

Unfortunately I had no other option than cancel my membership after 12 years .

How good is to pay a monthly membership if you are unable to schedule a single massage ?

This place is going...
