Disc & Dat — Local services in Bethel

Had a pretty poor experience on RSD. My friend and I arrived around 4 am to line up and where the first two people to wait. Everything went very well until it was time to shop. They brought 5 of us in at time so we could pick our records. Then a rude customer darted past us grabbing one of the records off the shelf and checking out before anyone could eve see anything. This person was 5th in line. That type of behavior is pretty bad. But that is not on the store. No one else noticed till she was already out the door. Turns out she grabbed the one record my friend was looking for. That she waited since 4am to get. Her place in line ment nothing. Now this is where the story would end if that was the end of it. After seeing this and bringing it up to the employees of the store I asked what happened to the 3rd copy of the Vinly since they posted videos of what we could expect to see on RSD on their facebook. In the facebook video you can clearly see tehre are 3 of these vinyls. The vinyl in question is Laufey - A Night At The Symphony. Video Proof of there being 3 directly from their facebook posted by them a day before RSD. https://fb.watch/rzXBvwFuvE/ I was then informed that one of the employees kept a copy for themselves. Which normally would not bother her but due to the fact that she was wronged as a customer who waited in line. It feels pretty messed up. Espcially when we told the employees what happened they told us to call back later in the evening to see if there was anything they could to do to help. In short they said theres not much they can do besides taking my name and number and telling me they could offer another copy if they came across one. Which hurts to hear knowing fully well they had at least the entire time. If action is ever taken to remedy this situation we will gladly adjust the reivew. The store was put in a bad place by rude customer but they did fail to make it right. So thats why we are leaving this review.

Also going to note I heard nothing but positive things about store online and in person from everyone we spoke to in the line. It was really quite heartbreaking to have this experience. But I do hope everyone luck is better then ours and you get to see what we missed. Everyone...

I actually visited this place about 3 weeks ago and was none too impressed with an individual at the store and the guy behind the counter. Sold them a handful of very good albums nonetheless. Fortunately when I returned 2 days ago I actually met the owner who is very cool and appreciated the deal that I wanted to give him which included the entire wood frame album case Plus about 50 albums. I will be going back there to check out their selection...
