I had a very disappointing experience with this pharmacy as a first time customer. My vet called in compounded liquid gabapentin for my cat to this pharmacy. I didn’t realize until I used most of the prescription that there was a layer of medicine separated and stuck to the bottom of the jar. Nowhere on the bottle did it tell me I needed to shake the medicine and no one told me when I picked it up, so I had no idea. When I talked to the pharmacist and explained it to him, he just said that happens sometimes, you need to shake it and he banged it around and gave it back to me. I felt upset they didn’t acknowledge it was a mistake this important information was left off the label, but I also felt it was unethical for him to try to give it back to me when there was no way of knowing what the concentration was at this point and if I would be overdosing my cat if I gave it to him. Finally after I explained I couldn’t give the medicine like that they refunded me $20 (the medicine cost me $50).
