We decided to try this place and it surely did t disappoint! The atmosphere was very warm, and so were the people. We ordered the beef and lamb gyro platter and the grilled chicken platter and both were excellent. The salad that came with each dish was huge, with a large chunk of feta cheese each, kalamata olives, two stuffed grape leaves, and a delicious dressing. I have to say the salads were a meal in themselves. The chicken was well seasoned and tender, and so was the gyro, and there was plenty of both. The rice was delicious, I love rice and this was probably the best rice I’ve had in a long time. Everything was delicious and made from scratch by the owner George and his wife. George also gifted us a container of homemade rice pudding and a piece of ravani, a popular Greek desert We didn’t try these yet, too stuffed from the delicious meal, but I’m looking forward to try them tomorrow. Great experience, both my wife and I loved and highly recommend The Greek to anyone who loves Greek food, and we can’t wait to go back. I think we’ll try pastitsio and spanakopita next time, maybe even a pizza made in that beautiful fire oven! And last but not least, I want to mention our wonderful server who also happens to be the owner’s son, and a very polite and friendly young man. If you’re into good food and a family atmosphere you must try this little gem!

I was excited to try this place. Called in a gyro and sm Greek salad NO ONIONS. They say 40-50 min, I get there and they say they didn’t make it and need 10-15 min. I drive around, come back, they say gyro and sm Greek no onions… I pay and leave. Open it up and it’s full of onions on both. I call them and the guy try’s to tell me he doesn’t think he put onions on it and just keep repeating I don’t think so. Then finally offered to make me a new order but it will be another 20 min. I said nevermind, I can’t wait that long and he goes ok thanks bye.

Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya guy recently stopt thru Da Greek looking for a plate of souvlaki which i obsess over. Overall this spot was decent... its a small shop better suited for takeout but fam were gracious hosts. The food is mids Greek, itsnot bad but it dsnt wow either. The souvlaki was dark meat and while that gave you more chicken flavor it was fallin short in lemon and oregano. Nice family owned biz, just a bit rough around the edges and missing that standout dish.

Very small, family-run restaurant. This is the kind of restaurant that deserves a 5 star review. Here's why:

Very fresh, very authentic, well picked ingredients. Concise menu, not trying to be all things to all people. Very true to Greek traditional food. Tasted as good as (or better in some cases) that any restaurant in Plaka, Greece. We had a traditional Greek salad, spinach pie, Gyro, fries and humus (with Pita). The food came out quickly and was expertly delivered by the owners family. The owner absolutely cared 100% how the food was and that it was exactly as it was supposed to taste. The gyro and tzatziki, Greek Feta Cheese were all spot on. I've been to Greek restaurants that bought items like Feta and Tzatziki after market. Not this place, the owner MAKES these key items. And the flavor reflects it.

He also has an authentic Greek oven and I am guessing that when he decides to expand his offerings, this oven will be instrumental in delivering new and unique culinary experiences.

Is this place a super high-end nightclub restaurant? No. Is it a place where you'll receive some of the best Greek food (at least in the United States)? Well, yes. Very limited seating, highly recommend you either take-out or get there early.

This place is a hidden gem. These people really care about your meal...

Great addition to Bethel. Their portions aren’t small, and they obviously care about the food they sell by the way it is prepared. Prices were very reasonable especially considering the size of their portions and quality of the food.

I had the Greek salad full of fresh veggies with a zesty and savory salad dressing. The small size is large enough for 2 people. The spinach pie was sooo tasty you want to eat it all in 1 sitting. Tzatziki sauce was fresh, full of herbs and cucumber. Their Baklava and Rice pudding knocked it out of the park! Best I’ve EVER had, lots of time and effort, quality and care went into these. Highly recommend people support this little GEM even though parking is a challenge in Bethel. The owner and his staff are very friendly. Only disappointment is he mentioned he won’t be making pizzas. Hopefully that may change...
