Gift Cottage — Local services in Bethel

The Gift Cottage is a staple of downtown Bethel, which starts with the super cute and well-kept exterior. Inside are lots of well made gifts, most of which you won’t find anywhere else (especially the Christmas ornaments that have scenes from area towns — those are specially made for The Gift Cottage, and are hand painted!).

The prices are what you would expect for good quality items, many of which are hand made.

Be sure to try a truffle, but be warned: you may leave with a box! They’re out of this world.

Last but certainly not least is the staff - Joan, her daughter and the rest of the team are genuinely friendly people who clearly love the store, their customers, and take pride in curating unique gifts that fill their store.

My wife found several treasures, including a nice small purse and mosquito repellent scarf! Oh, and of course truffles. =)

I love love the Gift Cottage! The selection of goods is wonderful and if you are in search of a special gift this is the store to go. They have so many things that will be perfect for that special someone in your list. I personally enjoy their Hauser Chocolates and their beautiful jewelry. Joan and Terry are wonderful and make the store even more fun to come in and buy local their taste is exceptional. What a charming and magical little store. The owner is absolutely delightful - I felt so welcomed - and I found wonderful little gifts for my friends for Christmas. I also got some truffles. The Grand Marnier truffle was soo good. I can’t wait to try the others...
