Bought a $1k scope here 11/29. On 11/30 I took it to range and about 20 rounds later the reticle twisted in the body of the scope. Shop owner told me they don’t warranty or exchange scopes once they’ve been mounted. Told me to go through Vortex for the warranty. $1k scope and less than 24 hours and they couldn’t swap it out and handle the warranty claim. I don’t live in town so now I’ll have to wait until I get home, 3-4 weeks and get it sent in. Feel like could’ve taken care of the warranty and stood behind the product they’re selling. Seems like to me they made their money off it and didn’t want the added hassle. Won’t be getting my business in the future. I’ll stick to the gun shop in Ackerly or Midland. I first went to my dad’s gun store near Lubbock. He swears by it. They didn’t have what I was looking for and it was pretty disappointing. I decided to try our local gun shop. I’ve been shocked at the large gun selection here at Big Spring Outdoors. Since then I’ve shopped here about a dozen times. I always find great products, many made in America. Y'all lost a couple good customers today. We don't understand why y'all won't let us return something, that was bought less than 2 months ago. We were never told about a return policy, what so ever! Working on the road isn't easy, we definitely aren't going to patronize a business that doesn't care about their customers.
