Asked for my service animals ID which btw is hugely illegal I have POTS and pass out. Not to mention there was a lady with 2 white crusty dogs in there who were obviously were NOT service animals barking and growling at my very real and decently trained animal. Hmm why do I have a service animal you may ask to make sure that when I pass out that I am not touched while unconscious and helping me stay upright while sitting so that I don’t fall over and bust my head open or to alert me something wrong. Well I presented my service animals ID I politely mentioned that it’s illegal to ask for a service animals ID and she got defensive saying it’s because owner is allergic to dogs and that she’d let it slide this time… you are running a place open to the general public. I have reported this issue to non emergency police and let US service animals legal team know they are asking disabled people for service animal ID. Sure if someone’s dog is obviously untrained and barking and growling at people it’s probably not a service animal but my dog is polite besides his awkward eye contact he likes to give. I had a slip and fall on ice while approaching the front door at this place of business on March 23rd. I have tried several times to get their insurance information so that I could be compensated for time loss from work and send my medical bills directly to their insurance company.
