This is a fantastic leatherwork shop. They don't have EVERYTHING. But they have a huge variety of things. You can walk in and walk out with every single thing needed to complete a project. This shop is 75% geared towards saddles and things of that nature. They generally have a very good selection of leather. From cow, bison to kangaroo. You do need to go through a decent amount of leather to find a top selection quality side. But, it is worth it. The staff is extremely friendly and do their best to answer questions. They carry alot of top name brands in everything. Leather brands ranging from Horween, Hermann Oak, and Wickett and Craig to cheaper brands to make excellent leather goods from. On May 30th I placed an order on their online store for an item that was listed as in stock. I got an order confirmation email saying my order was being processed, but then the next day I received a phone call telling me that the item was actually out of stock but that it would ship by the end of the week. I had some life stuff come up and forgot about the order until today when I realized it had never shown up. I throughly checked my email, includingmy spam folder, in case I had missed an email about my order shipping. There was no communication whatsoever, and I have now been waiting 23 days since I ordered. I will never be shopping here again, I caution others...

As a small business owner, I sometimes have to shop for unique one-off hides in special colors to satisfy customer orders. The guys at Montana Leather have gone above and beyond to help me, looking for the right color leather, getting orders of buckles and hardware together and being extra patient with me.
