I go to this ALDI a lot. Great workers, great location. I gave up going to Walmart, because ALDI just had most of the things I needed in a better, quicker format. I am all about efficiency. I loved that their sections made sense. My grocery list is made in that order. I'm in an out and back home in 30 mins. I'm still getting used to recent changes though... And so far it wasn't good.
Let me rant a little, normal people please ignore: I took a star off because the layout they had before was perfect. If it's not broken, don't fix it. But after 23Aug2025 I felt like I walked into another dimension, no way this was the same store. The veggies are by the entrance, causing a pile up as soon as you get in. I wonder if they are trying to attract the bugs or something. Previously all the dry snack/biscuits were there. I get what I need and get out of the way for others to come in. Never saw a pile up. Then fresh veggies and fruits at the end so you can easily turn into next aisle to get your other veggies, but now you have to circle around the entrance then circle back to go further into the store. Now it's cookies here, but the rest are all the way at the end.
I guess they are doing the psychologic trick of putting healthy things first so you buy more junk later. But I really appreciated the logic previously, and I ended up avoided looking for my usual stuff because I just wanted to get out of there. I'm not into scavenger hunts. Might as well go to Walmart now.
I'll change/delete this rant if/after I figure out the layout and redo my ordered list. But...
Read moreI didn't want to rate this because the employee who checked me out was awesome and overworked. She was the only cashier the whole time I was there until the last minute. Her hands were flying and she was doing the work of three and still the lines were backed up. Why didn't someone come to relieve her sooner? And the person who came out, finally, (I think she was the manager) was going so slowly that it didn't even seem like she was there. The lines had been backed up the whole time I was there. I told her my son's girlfriend had cried all the way home three days in a row because she was so overworked at Walmart. She said she would probably do the same thing on the way home. I am going to do something next time, maybe even ask everyone behind me to wait five minutes so she can get a break. Please don't overwork these good employees. Come help them out and really push yourself as hard as they...
Read moreI realized this morning that I had forgotten to pack something. We had bought some awesome Advent calendars from ALDI to bring with us on the trip and left them at home. Dang it! Stopped here to see if they had any and nope, they've sold out.
Still, this store is absolutely consistent with the ALDI brand and the same as every other store I've been to. Bring your quarter for the carts, bring your reusable shopping bags (or grab a box) and plan to repack your groceries yourself.
Produce, commercial bread, dry and canned goods, dairy and deli, frozen and meats and seafood. This store has the same layout as the ALDIs I've visited this year in Neosho MO, Clermont FL, Plattsburgh NY and Lexington NC....
