Atra Capra has the most wonderful balance of artistic talent, true walk-in availability/flexibility, and easy-to-talk-to creators. ☺️❤️ Thankful to have them in the Woodlawn community!

I ran into a sticky situation where the artist from another studio who was set to create my first tattoo just before my birthday had to cancel after having scheduled the appointment more than a month in advance. Bummer. 😔

I called Atra Capra the same day I found out, and Devin was willing to meet with me for a consultation a few hours later that afternoon. ☺️ She and Nails took the time to thoughtfully consult with me on my admittedly conceptually odd tattoo idea, and Devin was so flexible in meeting with me the very next day to create my tattoo.

Devin was incredibly calm, respectful, conversational, and was willing to let me have my spouse or one of my best friends come back to sit with us while she created the tattoo. ☺️ Devin was also really efficient yet thoughtful in her creation of the tattoo, and it felt like a true collaboration between the two of us in making this idea a tangible piece of art.

Came in with a group of 3 looking for some Walk-in tats. Welcoming, casual, professional and friendly environment. The owner was helpful and friendly and matched us each with the right artist for each of our requests. Had one peice custom drawn up on the fly by Dr Drew, who did a great design and worked quickly and smoothly. It came out great. Devin drew up a quick clean tattoo from reference (a character from a TV show) and tattooed with smooth and steady hand. It came out great. Went in just to get some flash art because I've been having a really rough month. I went in not really knowing what I wanted but after speaking with Devin and another artist(I'm so very sorry I've forgotten his name) they were able to help me walk out with something AMAZING. Its a very professional studio, really clean environment, everyone was so kind and Devin was very fun and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Really great customer service.
