We hosted our Thrifted Prom fundraiser at Woodlawn Theatre and were so incredibly impressed by how great they were to work with. The venue itself is a hidden gem in Birmingham and has great spots for setting up catering and a photo booth for an event! Rebekah Fox was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. The venue can also handle the ticket sales for an event via their website. The rest of the staff were extremely friendly and both bartended the event and ran sound for our DJ! There was plenty of parking available as well. We can't recommend this...

If you like cozy and intimate shows, Woodlawn Theatre should be on your list. They host other types of events too, and there's music instruction too. We went to see Heath Green & the Makeshifters last night and it was great. There's a nice bar and comfortable chairs & couches toward the entrance. Drinks are fairly basic, but comparatively inexpensive. The sound system and acoustics seemed good, and they have decent stage lighting. We'll definitely see more...

I have visited this theater three times now. The atmosphere is amazing, welcoming, and very neat. This theater has been very supportive to local artist, giving them a place to showcase their talent.
