The cappuccino was excellent and they currently give you the choice between three beans for your espresso: June, Domestique, and Red Bike. The ham and cheese croissant is delicious, buttery, and flaky. The ambiance here is top notch. This clearly used to be a home. And each of the different rooms on the first floor now contain cozy seating options. Plenty of comfortable seating options. The back area behind the coffee shop has been built out into a fantastic back deck and pergola. They have even built a little stage! Hopefully some nice musical acts out there at some point. They have string lights all over the place, so I am looking forward to seeing what it's like out there during the evening. And they have a full bar! Their current cocktail selection is impressive. The Catch No Feels is refreshing and perfect for this summer weather. And the old fashioned was very good, though it would have been even better on a big, single ice cube. And the staff here was so personable and helpful. We will definitely be back. And everyone needs to check this place out. My only gripe is that the prices are a tad bit high. But that's par for the course lately. And if the service and quality are spot on, then I think it's worth it.

If you're looking for an exceptional coffee experience in Birmingham, House Eleven in Woodlawn is a must-visit. The service is top-notch, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the coffee and food are incredible. What sets House Eleven apart is that it’s not just a coffee shop—it’s also a bar and event space, perfect for hosting social gatherings. The moment you walk in, it feels like you've been transported to an international oasis. It's classy, chic, and cozy—definitely not your average hipster coffee shop. The owners have been so intentional with every detail, from the sophisticated design to the diversity of the staff, the curated coffee selection, and the music playlist. It's a space where you can easily lose track of time in the best way possible. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee, planning a gathering, or looking for a spot to unwind, House Eleven delivers an experience that's both unique and memorable. Highly recommend!

Every city I go too, I try all kinds of coffee shops, not only here but abroad. This was hands down the most inviting and elegant feeling coffee shops/house that I have the pleasure of being in. From the smell as u walk in the door, to the barista asking what type of beans that u would prefer with drink, I love dark, the coffee came out fabulous. also the layout is inviting you to come in and spend a while, enjoying the art, music, experience. when I’m in Birmingham again I will for sure be spending some more of my time here. It was a great way to finish off the trip.

A wonderful space to work, meet for coffee, or (coming soon, as of May 2025) grab a drink and a bite to eat from a food truck. The space features multiple rooms, beautifully appointed with classic decor in the front and modern in the back, with a spacious front porch and a sprawling, quiet back patio with sun, shade, and a stage for performances. If one room is too quiet, too loud, too dark or too light, it's easy to find another space to do your thing while enjoying stellar coffee and pastries. Stylish without being austere.

Like the neighborhood around it (out toward the airport), House Eleven feels like an early version of something still developing. Looking forward to seeing...
