Every time I go in the store the cashiers act like they lack common sense. The only person with good customer service is the manager. the customer service isn’t up to par for how high the items are in the store. I went in the store to get the $5 off 25. The cashier acted like he couldn’t find the coupon which are normally at the register. He couldn’t even perform the transaction correctly without manager intervention. Every time I go in the store the customer service pisses me off. The store is under stocked because of theft. Next time I will go to the Vestavia store where the cashier isn’t acting smart. Security mean mugged me on the way in, which made me very uncomfortable right away. They hardly ever have the air conditioner on which means the food goes bad quickly. The staff is not willing to help, and treat you like you have a hearing problem If you don't answer them right away. Wanted to say that Dollar General has really improved in a short time. I was in the Dollar general and I saw n heard a young man who was running around making sure everyone knew there job and what needed done He definitely seemed in charge and was getting things in order. This store has had a lot of workers who really didn't wanna work. There's always someone outside asking for money and I'm sure it intimidates some shoppers.
