Valley Ave. Plaza — Local services in Birmingham

Laundromat: This may be a great place, but my ONE and only experience was tainted.

1. Half of the coin machine doesn't work. It appears that only one side returns quarters. So, if you accidentally put money in the wrong slot, you're out of luck since there are no clerks present--at least there weren't when I was there.
2. Some of the machines right up front are broken though they don't appear to be (even upon closer inspection). There were only a handful of people there. They watched me put money and clothes in a machine that was neither working nor marked as out of order and said absolutely nothing.

After that, I decided to just leave as the overwhelming heat within the establishment exacerbated my already...
