Fogerty Ice Arena — Local services in Blaine

We went to Fogerty Ice Arena and booked a private Curling event for our annual sales meeting for thirty people from across the US and Canada. In our group only two people had even tried Curling before. The process to book and make arrangements was great, but even better was how smoothly everything ran when we were there. The instructors were great in giving us all clear instructions, while also encouraging us along and even getting into our competitive spirit with the bracket competition we had come up with. I booked Fogerty for a work outing with my team (of 10). Over two hours, they provided us with instruction, both in-classroom and on the ice, and then guided us as we got into live competition. We had a ball! Dave and George were spectacular instructors who ensured we were comfortable with the game while also guiding us to improvement. The facility is wonderful, with great ice conditions (at least from a novice’s viewpoint), equipment, and facilities. This is a very nice, smaller facility. It's always clean. Fairly easy to navigate. Good view of the ice from most any seat. Features several leagues, many high school and middle schools play here. It's often one game after another. My granddaughter plays there often and says she likes the smaller size compared to some larger facilities she's played in. Tournaments are generally not held here due to the size. Games as well as practices keep the ice cold and we'll groomed. I like to watch the Zambezi smooth out the ice and have ambition to at least ride on one, if...
