Small mom and pop shop that opened about 5 years ago, right before C19. They obviously made it through that mess for a reason! The ambiance of the place is really nice, plants and knick knacks all over, i really enjoyed looking at all the various things. The service was great, they were very friendly. I ended up getting a entree chicken pad thai instead of the lunch special, and order of summer rolls with sweet chili sauce added, tom kha gai soup, and a thai iced tea. Let's get into this: completely forgot to ask if they use tamarind in their pad thai, it is traditional but a lot of of places have been skimping on this and it takes away from the unique flavor. Fortunately they still use it which made me really happy. Took me about 15-20 minutes to get back to work so the noodles were a bit dry from the sauce, i think it'd be better fresh from the wok, however the taste was absolutely amazing. Also to note i asked for it to be a little spicy, white person spicy. Man o man a little spicy had my eyes and nose running, it was well worth it. The summer rolls were pretty traditional, i could taste a lot of the cilantro. The peanut sauce was a first for me, I'm used to a bit thicker of a sauce, and this one was thinner. More to the point it would absorb into the roll instead of sitting on top. Made it a lot easier to use both sauces! They were very refreshing. As for the tom kha soup, this was my least favorite, it lacked flavor and depth I'm used to with other tom kha soups ive had. Normally i have ginger, lemon grass, and some chili oil and of course the rest of the veggies. This one looked to be chicken mushrooms, onion and carrot only. Next time I want to try the papaya salad, apparently they are famous for what I'm told! Last the thai tea, you guys need bigger options for tea, it's so dang good and that small cup was a tease! Overall this place is pretty accurate with a 4.5, definitely worth supporting these folks and the food they are doing up. Thank you all and good luck, hope to see...

Authentic Thai Cuisine at Its Best!

Sala Thai Street food is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors. The food is consistently excellent, with rich, bold flavors that transport you straight to Thailand. Their BBQ Pork is absolutely phenomenal—perfectly marinated, tender, and packed with flavor. And if you’re a fan of desserts, don’t leave without trying their Mango Sticky Rice. The mango is always fresh and sweet, paired with perfectly cooked sticky rice and just the right amount of coconut cream.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is friendly and attentive. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, you can expect top-notch quality every time. Highly recommend Sala Thai for anyone looking for an authentic Thai dining experience!

Would definitely...

Very kind and helpful staff.

*Massaman curry made vegan - delicious *Thai Eggplant - good, would have been enjoyed a tad more spiciness though. *Stuffed wontons - delicious, but a little flat, could have used more stuffing. *Red curry made vegan with tofu - delicious green curry - delicious *Pepper garlic stir fry with tofu - light and tasty

All of the curries can be made vegan, with vegan soup and appetizer, you just have to ask for all vegan. Brown rice avail for an extra dollar. Hoping they will make this more clear on the menu, and include more all-vegan options...
