Normandale Village — Local services in Bloomington

It's a nice little strip mall overall and you can navigate to all shops without going outside in the winter, which is nice. Lunds, a salon, a bank, clothing, hardware store, and a second-hand furniture shop are current businesses that come to mind. When I was young, Loehmanns department store was an anchoring store here and the mall was called Loehmanns Plaza. A nice quiet place with lots of options. It's not that far out of the way and offers many, everyday choices. Need some cash, they got it. Need some office supplies or mail a package, they got it. Need some home improvement items, it can be found here. Maybe an outing with the fam for some good food, groceries, gas, whatever... it's all here. You really don't need to go beyond this strip mall to accomplish most of your everyday needs. I go...

This is a nice enclosed strip mall. Pretty safe and easy walk to get your steps in or visit nails or hair salon. There chiropractors and massage place, hardware stores, daycare, Brazilian, American, Italian and Asian restaurants around the plaza. Lunds and Byrly for groceries and Haskell for liquor.
