Colton deserves a raise PLEASE! First time meeting him & the rest of the staff so let me explain why. First impressions mean a lot. Especially to a disabled customer that doesnât appear to be disabled outside looking in. He had no idea how much pain I was in with every step I took, but went out of his way to lift the jewelry so it was eye level. Itâs very hard & extremely painful to bend right now. Thank you for your consideration because that goes a long long way to someone who isnât able to do everything a non-disabled patron might be able to. Yet most places I go have zero compassion because they cannot comprehend the difference something as simple as lifting a product to eye level does for someone like me. He went the extra mile & it means the world to me. If 10stars was possible thatâs how I would rate this store. I was instantly greeted the moment I came through the door. Which when youâre having a tough day due to your health, feels really good! Especially when youâre nervous that this location might treat you & your service dog the same way that the one off Troost treats you. They didnât violate ADA rules by asking me 20 questions or make rude comments saying that I didnât need my SD or that I needed to remove her from the store to get assistance. Which has happened nearly every single time I went to the one off Troost. Note you cannot see all disabilities so itâs a common judgement, nevertheless the comments can be overwhelmingly rude & cause a bitter taste towards a whole chain as a result. But today I needed replacements for my body jewelry & since 2 of the 3 piercings had nearly closed I had no choice but to come in & try this location. Iâm so thankful that I did!!! Not one employee interfered with my SD & me (mind you itâs against federal law to interfere but time & time again the one off Troost did so). No one tried saying hello or distracting her. To any SD handlers, this is a huge relief & greatly appreciated beyond the expression of words. Thanks so much for changing my mind...
Read moreI've shopped here many times and I'll admit they have a great selection but my last visit will be my last. The cashier made my friend and me wait so that she and the other gal working could look at pictures on their phones. After waiting a few minutes the cashier looked at me and said "you can't be over here without ID, do you have one?" I was kinda taken back because I'm 29 years old and have purchased stuff from this cashier several times...but I didn't have my ID so whatever, I agreed not to buy anything but just wanted to show my buddy which piece he should look at and she said even louder "you need to leave this area now since you don't have your ID". "Got it" was all I could say. Sorry for this book of a review but I thought it was poor service to make two customers wait while you look at your phone and had she just been a little nicer about kicking me outta the pipe area I wouldn't be writing this review. Good selection, crappy...
Read moreNice place, always got trendy items, was Spinners! Cool staff. A cool place for tobacco needs. The other location always been good on music. I know this one was a bit behind. Though severely disappointed when I came in looking for the new Tech N9ne. Old awesome albums where there, but then when asked one of the younger staff who was near by he told me "He likely didn't order any, people don't do that anymore, they use online steaming like spotify..." đ˛ - Shocking to me, get it to a point, but for local artists we want to support and not pay those big services? đ¤ This is died out? Guess its NOT the place to support your local artist. You'd better go see Troost location if want music! (That deal makes this -â as pretty rude like I am not so...
