I purchased an engagement ring at Kennedy's, and was very impressed by their superior customer service. I began my search for a ring at the large "chain" jewelers, and I did not like what they had to offer. They made me feel insignificant, like I was just another customer. When browsing their inventory (on-hand), most of the rings were sub par, and were not the quality I was looking for. When I asked to look at better quality, they were only willing to show me on a computer screen. I quickly began exploring other options, and a friend referred me to Kennedy's.
As soon as I walked into the store, I was met by Trisha with a warm welcome and a cup of coffee. Next thing I know, I am looking at diamonds of all quality levels and prices, so that I can decide what is right for me and learn more about diamonds in general. I gave her my budget, and the type of diamond/band that I was looking for. Trisha brought in over 5 diamonds of various sizes and quality levels. Once I found the perfect diamond, I set the purchase in motion. Trisha called me the next day to tell me there was another diamond of almost the exact same quality at a lower price. This is now the diamond my fiance' has on her finger!
Throughout the purchase, I learned about the characteristics of the diamond itself. Further, Trisha explained all of my options for having it cleaned, insured, and how to maintain its quality. She even factored in my fiance's occupation when deciding on the type of band/setting.
This significant of a purchase can be rather stressful, so this level of service made the process much more comforting. I felt like an expert on my own diamond when I walked out the door, and could not wait to hand it over to the woman I love. I now wish that I had more money so that I could go ring...
Read moreI have an engagement ring purchased from an online vendor. When it came time to purchase a wedding band we looked all around town for a band that fit well with it. We were in Kennedy's several times looking at different options. We worked primarily with Emilee who was always up beat, friendly, and helpful. We never felt we received any lesser service than if the engagement ring had come from Kennedy's (something we experienced at several other stores). In comparison to every other location we went to in the area we experienced the best customer service by far at Kennedy's which is why when my fiance decided on a basic tungsten ring that could have come from any area jewelry store, we didn't even price shop- we ordered it from Kennedy's. We ended up deciding to go with a custom wedding band for my engagement ring. We worked with Aaron on the design. Aaron was wonderful from start to finish and made my vision come to life. He initially quoted us a price at which he felt he could make the ring at or below for us. When we finalized everything and it came time to order supplies the price to make the ring ended up being slightly higher than originally expected but he still honored the original quote he gave us. Every deadline they gave us for when to expect things to be done they completed early. I picked my engagement ring up yesterday (more than a week before I expected it to be done at the earliest) and it is absolutely perfect! I could not be more pleased. He told Kennedys that he wasn’t sure what I liked and that I was coming to the store to look at other watches to see if that’s the one I wanted. I went down there and they knew what my husband had setup so I started looking at their watches. I looked at 1 watch and said well I like that one to try it on. I tried it on and the blond woman took the watch my husband bought and ran to the back of the room with it. Came back and said well how to do want to pay for that. I can’t believe I let her run me around I must of been crazy. I let her do that to me. The watch was about 200.00 more than the one my husband bought. I paid the difference and left. When I got home I thought I never got to look at any of the other watches or try them on. I probably would have kept the one my husband bought. What a big ass run around. She must of wanted that watch or knew someone that did or maybe it was the extra money she got from the sale. I’m very disappointed and angry I let her do that to me. What a unprofessional and disgusting person. My husband said when he was there they did the same thing to him.
