There are two playgrounds, a water feature, and a nice walking trail at this park. The old playground has woodchips, and while the equipment isn't as fancy (and needs repair in some places), over time, kids seem to prefer it because there's just more to do. The newer playground has the nice cushy rubber floor, so that part is great for post-rain and small children. Unfortunately, other than a (very difficult to push) spinning orb and a nice tower, there's not really much to do. It's just kind of small, and those net web things take up space but aren't actually fun. This is a good park for pokemon go, and you'll see lots of people playing. The shelters need updating, but they're functional. Lots of kids play in the sand by the volleyball net, but we once found a rotten goose foot in there, so we don't. During migration season, there are lots of geese, and LOTS...

This is one of the best-kept parks of the Blue Springs park system, and it's large enough for many different activities, but not too big to where it feels overwheming. It has a nice walking path around a lake, and has a couple of playground areas for the kiddos, plus tennis courts and a gazebo where they periodically have events. The only thing that was a bit concerning on this particular visit was the amount of geese in the park, and the copious amounts of their waste on the walking paths; however they have signs posted to not feed the geese, lest they become accustomed to our feedings. Overall, this park has been one of my faves for years and is still a great place to get outdoors and...

This is a fun park with lots to do and see! I come here often with my nephew and twin nieces. This park has two different sections. A train themed playground area and another red, white, & blue playground area. The train themed area is more inclusive and has a wheelchair swing. This park also has tennis courts, a walking trail, beach volley ball area, and a nice little pond with a gazebo. There is probably more that I haven't seen yet. This is a great park for kids of all ages and birthday parties. There are also a lot of geese there from time to time. They seem friendly, but I wouldn't get too close since geese are typically...

Great park with things to do for all ages. There are two large playgrounds with play structures. A sand volleyball court, too. Two pavilions for family reunions, work parties, church groups, etc. A path goes all the way around the pond for a lunch or evening walk. Beware the goose poop, though! The park serves as an arboretum as many of the trees are labeled. Also, for the Pokemon Go gamers, there are several gyms, lots of pokestops, and tons of Pokemon to catch.
