Went here with my mom and loved the store. My mom wanted to buy something but wasn’t 100% sure if she liked it. My mom asked if she could return it and they said yes you can return it within 30 days or whatever the policy was. Cool! So she bought it and about a week later decided to return it. That’s when we learned it was only able to be returned for store credit. Had we not specifically asked about the return policy, then this would have been our problem and we would have been okay with it. But, the fact that we specifically asked about their return policy and they chose to omit that information, regardless of it its posted on a sign near the register, is why I’m giving them a 1 star. Deceptive and weird. Also even weirder that about 3 or 4 of the employees were at the register when asked and none of them felt like it was important to say something about the store credit policy. Congrats on the hundred bucks you secured, had you been honest and transparent about your return policy you would have secured two customers for years who constantly need cute gifts for Christmas and birthdays. I will never return and I’ll always feel the need to tell my family and friends about my experience here. Really loved supporting a small business but I can literally find the same items on Amazon and can return them if I don’t...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE, love, Love SPRUCE! This is such a special store and if you like and especially love home decor, this is a must place to see. They have 2 locations; one in Boardman on 224 (kind of across from Meijer's) right between Zoup! and One Hot Cookie. And another location in Niles. They know how to curate the displays in such a lovely, unique and personable way that you will want to visit often to scoop up special finds and run home to make your home feel just as comfy and special as this priceless gem of a home decor store. And the best time to fall in love with Spruce is when they decorate for the Christmas holidays. You will not regret stopping by in November and December to get in the holiday spirit! They will also have a Pop-Up Store opening in downtown Youngstown for the Christmas holiday too.....it's a site to see! The Boardman location also shares the retail space...

I picked up the one thing I was almost going to buy for my mom, but decided I could make it myself (WITHOUT globs of hot glue hanging off the edges) for cheaper. Truthfully as soon as I saw they partnered up with that awful One Hot Cookie/OH Donut lady I knew I wasn’t going to spend any money there, but figured I’d see what the hype is about. Evidently, it’s...
