I recently visited Valley Kitchen, and it was an experience I’d rather forget. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The place was dimly lit and had a strange odor that made me question whether I should even stay. After being seated, I waited an eternity for a server to acknowledge me. It took over 30 minutes just to get my coffee, and when it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and tasted burnt.

As for the food, it was a complete disaster. I ordered the pancakes, expecting something fluffy and delicious, but what I got was a sad stack of undercooked doughy discs . They were so bland that I couldn't even finish them, and I usually love pancakes! My friend ordered the omelet, which looked more like a sad, deflated mess on the plate. It was overcooked and lacked any flavor whatsoever.

To make matters worse, the staff was unfriendly and seemed completely disinterested in providing good service. They walked by our table multiple times without even a glance, and when I finally flagged someone down to express my concerns, they responded with a shrug and walked away. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers.

Going into Valley Kitchen, I knew it was going to be pricy, but I was hoping the quality would justify the cost. Unfortunately, that was far from the case. The experience was incredibly disappointing, and I felt like I was paying a premium for something that just didn’t deliver. The service was slow and inattentive, making the wait feel even longer. By the time I got my meal, I realized that it lacked the flavor and satisfaction that I expected for the price tag. I left feeling cheated, as if I had paid for a gourmet experience but received nothing more than a mediocre meal.

Overall, Valley Kitchen was a huge letdown. Between the terrible food, lackluster service, and unpleasant atmosphere, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent breakfast. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere...

My first visit to Valley Kitchen was a mixed bag. I stopped by for lunch and ordered the Santa Fe Chicken ($18), which was unfortunately a bit dry, likely from being cooked on a flat top. It left me wishing for the “grilled” chicken offered by their neighbor next door. The service was okay, but not particularly welcoming. The greeting I received was a simple "can I help you?" rather than a friendly welcome. They have weird hours. Only open 7a-3p. Which is weird because they have a full service bar, And they don’t have a website. You have to look at their menu through Toast Tab. I had to look up what is Halloumi on their Mediterranean Platter. While there were some drawbacks, there were also positives. The food portions were good, and the bathrooms were notably clean and well-maintained. The take-out service was also a reasonable 20 minutes. Valley Kitchen is a new spot, and it feels like it's still finding its identity. The interior is very bare with empty walls, and the food and service seem to share that same lack of character. The limited hours (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.) are also unusual for a place with a full bar. There is also no dedicated website, so you have to view the menu through a third-party app. They're reportedly known for their breakfast, so that might be a better option to try...

This was my first time eating here and wish I could say it was a good experience but sadly it was not. I ordered the florentine eggs benedict and when it came out I noticed 3 things. First, the tomatoes were cooked (after I confirmed with the waiter that they would be freshed, second that the egg was undercooked and third and by far the worst there was some meat in my meal. I do not eat meat. I let my waiter know who took it back. When he brought out the redone meal. It was not what I ordered but instead an spinach, pepper, onion and mushroom omelet. I was baffled. At this point the 3 other people I was with felt terrible because they didn't want to eat their meals while I was sitting there so now their meals were cold and I had the wrong meal. I don't like peppers or onions but I just ate some of that meal so the others wouldnt have to sit there again. All that was done was my meal was comped after I insisted that happen. So the meal I didnt order or want was comped. Didn't even credit my orange juice or the other person on my check. When the other 3 people were impacted as well. I really wanted to like it here as breakfast is my favorite meal and the wait was crazy but sadly we will not be returning after...

Valley Kitchen delivers a vibrant and authentic breakfast experience with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The spread includes perfectly fried eggs, seared halloumi cheese, ripe cherry tomatoes, creamy avocado topped with feta, and a generous portion of rich Kalamata olives. The side of warm, za'atar-seasoned flatbread adds a delightful depth of flavor, making it a standout feature. Every element on the plate is carefully prepared and plated with attention to both aesthetics and taste. The combination of fresh vegetables, briny olives, and warm, melty cheese provides a balanced and satisfying meal. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or just looking for a healthy yet indulgent breakfast, Valley Kitchen is a must-try. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for the quality. Highly recommended for those who appreciate fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared food!
