I thought they were so nice and fair only to find out I was a fool . I brought two pieces of jewelry and a 22 carat gold bracelet And a 24 karat necklace for a weight of 55 g or something like that they gave me $2300 for it and I had no idea that what gold went for come to find out it should’ve been closer to $6000. I definitely should’ve educated myself before I went in but since then I have sold another piece to a shop on Golden Gate that gave me the price of gold program. I brought something for 5 g of gold today 21 carats and they gave me $405. Big difference stay tuned and I’ll give you the name of the place I went today. I can’t remember it right now. The price of gold on 10/01/2014 was $84.00 and not sure if it’s higher for 24carat. I had 57.00 they were weighted many times .. my math says we recieved 50% of worth . I feel strongly I need to share my experience . I did already but I don't see my review . I had two pieces of gold jewelry to sell, a 22k bracelet and a 22k necklace that was 92,6% pure gold and a combined weight of 57 grams , at the time the gold was worth $84 a gram it was Oct first 2024 I thought the two gentlemen were very very nice and they gave me $ 2375 for the pieces , I didn't know how selling gold actually worked. I went to In Gold we Trust in gold on Golden gate parkway and sold a pair of 22 karat earrings weighing 5.71 G and received $407, gold had gone up by approximately $4 a gram I didn't know how it worked selling gold etc and was taken advantage up at statesman's Jewelers. Last week I went too TRUST IN GOLD sold a 22k 5,7 grm and received 404$ the full price of the gold whatever the rate is on the market ,they're not as friendly and talkative but they just get down to business and give you the price of gold I would have had a lot more money if you could do the math on the other two pieces I'm really saddened by it and can't believe I went to such a nice place to get ripped...
