Be vary wary of the unethical practices that is being done by one of their agents.
Agent Melissa Felhi,
While I cannot speak on the company ethics, this particular agent and her husband Joel, who claims to be a broker/agent as well, has done borderline fraudulent practices with some of their clients. A year ago, my mother was promised to be approved of a home loan by Joel if given a cash amount of 12,500 USD. I have never heard of a real estate agent ask for money up front just to have a loan approved. After the money was given in cash, at a private home address in Naples mind you, everything seemed like it was moving forward with the home buying process. This is where Melissa comes in, she sends my mother via email, house listings and documents to sign. Time goes on, and nothing ever really was completed or anything. Once my mother starts asking questions as to why nothing is being done, Joel than says he requires MORE money so she can be approved, not the original amount that they had agreed upon. We have video proof of him acting hostile to my mom via phone call saying to no longer call him and that he was not going to help my mother anymore. That was 2022. This is when Joel stops answering his phone all together. Fast forward to 2023 April, Joel finally answers his phone and says he will refund all the money in instalments. It is Aug now and we have not received a single dime and again Joel does not answer his phone. When I finally find out Melissa's number via Google, she says she does not know who I'm talking about and I need to get in contact with Joel, told me that I'll be on hold and immediately hung up. To be quite honest with you, the whole interaction she just seemed very guilty and denied everything. Even to emailing my mother anything.
My mother was scammed by these two people. Clients and the company should be aware of these actions. While Joel does not work for them, Melissa does. And she knows what Joel is doing. And who knows, how long they've been doing this for. Scamming people out of their hard earned money when they are just trying to make something for themselves. Melissa, you should be ashamed of yourself and we WILL be taking legal action against...
Read moreBuying your first home can be terrifying—like “should we just live in a van?” terrifying—but thanks to Kathleen White at Premiere Plus Realty, our experience was anything but. From start to finish, she was an absolute dream to work with: kind, professional, endlessly patient, and somehow managed to represent both us and the seller with complete fairness and grace. (We’re still not sure how she pulled that off, but we’re convinced she might secretly be a superhero.)
We came into the process without a realtor, and Kathleen made sure we never felt lost or left behind. She walked us through everything with such care and clarity, answering our rookie questions (some of them twice) without ever making us feel silly. She made us feel like her most important clients, and we honestly believe she treats everyone that way—which says a lot about her character and how much she loves what she does.
And let’s talk about the cherry on top: she thought to schedule our closing on Valentine’s Day. I mean, who thinks of that? Kathleen does. Now every February 14th, we get to celebrate not just love, but the day we officially became homeowners. That’s the kind of thoughtful, above-and-beyond touch she brings to her work.
If you're looking for someone who’s part real estate expert, part life coach, part fairy godmother—Kathleen White is your person. We’re beyond grateful for her and will be recommending her to literally everyone who even mentions the...
Read moreGarret Cioffi, who is a real estate agent under Premiere Plus Realty Company, reflects a lack of commitment to professionalism but also demonstrates low integrity, moral misconduct in business relationships, and a dishonor to the real estate profession. He represented the buyer of one of my properties. During the negotiations, Mr. Cioffi did not want to lose the sale and he displayed a willingness of reducing his commission to provide a seller concession of $10,000. To ensure transparency and avoid any misunderstanding, we documented this agreement via email, in which Mr. Cioffi explicitly confirmed his commitment to providing the $10,000 concession. However, after the final agreement and distribution of the funds, it came to my attention that the $10,000 concession had not been granted to me, as per our agreement. When confronted with this evidence, Mr. Cioffi resorted to dishonesty claiming that the $10,000 has already been deducted from the 6% commission, despite being well aware that the commission rate was 5% since the beginning. The ramifications of Mr. Cioffi actions reach far beyond my own financial loss. My profound worry lies in how his unethical behavior could adversely affect other people, eroding trust and integrity within the real estate industry, representing a significant disservice to the...
