I am incredibly displeased with the service that we received here. I brought my 8month old standard poodle here for the first time a few months ago. When we dropped her off we were not picky, just asking that her face wasn’t trimmed too short. I asked if they were familiar with poodles and was assured that they knew what they were doing. When I picked her up I was mostly satisfied with the cut. That is until she was at the vet to be spayed and they informed us that her ears were so matted that they had to spend the first half hour of her surgery plucking ear hair. To say I was extremely frustrated would be an understatement. We payed for the deluxe groom, which is supposed to come with ear plucking (it should considering how expensive it is) and they clearly had not even touched her ears. I will admit that I should have checked her ears, lesson learned. After this, I did not want to return but my partner wanted to give them a second chance. Fast forward to the past weekend when we took her in again and specifically asked that they pluck her ears. The woman working apologized for it not being done correctly last time and informed us that she would most likely have to completely shave the outside of her ears as well since they were also matted. Four hours later we got a call that she is ready to be picked. When we arrived the girl working couldn’t even figure out how to put my dogs harness on which seems crazy since she works with dogs all day. When I asked her if she made sure to pluck her ears, her response was “yes and there’s one thing i want to inform you of, i did cut her ear a little bit but it stopped bleeding and she seems fine”. This dog is my baby and they weren’t even going to mention that they had cut her until i asked, not to mention paying over $100 for a haircut that doesn’t even look good. The woman did not even apologize for cutting my dog or neglecting to inform me over the phone when it happened. Also, this cut is not small and they had applied some sort of blood stopper and left a piece of the skin just hanging. I understand accidents happen but also for something to go wrong both times i’ve taken her here is just unacceptable. The way it was handled was also just so completely unprofessional. So in total I’ve payed this place over $200 just for them to forget to perform services I paid for and to traumatize my dog. Safe to say I will never be returning and in my unprofessional dog mom opinion you should not take your pets here either.

I scheduled an appt for my Aussie to get a trim (vet and dna confirmed he is an Aussie) I get there and am told “we won’t trim that breed” very rude staff and waste of time. A family member knows the owner Kelly, she called her and Kelly was worse than the snooty girls in the shop! She basically called me a liar and said she knows my breed better than a doctor and dna records and that my dog is not an Aussie. (Mind you, she wasn’t even there!!) she then kept changing her story to defend her staff and said she cuts aussies but not German Shepards, then it was oh we never trim on the first appt.. she would have to bring him back. When family member asked why they scheduled the appt then she claims oh we didn’t.. she didn’t tell us he needed “shaved” she kept putting words in my mouth saying I wanted them to shave him when all I asked for was a trim. I have brought my dog here several times and always cuts on his skin, one ear shorter than the other, on and on. I’ve never complained. Today, she got upset because, I was a little late (no other dogs, by the way) and I asked her a question about the length that she was going to cut him. I have the right to ask a question. I said I wanted him a little longer, and she started to argue with me…..then when I responded, said I was arguing. 🤷🏽♀️ So disappointed and now irritated with this business. I told her ok, go ahead and groom him (the way she wanted-she doesn’t want to groom them…only to just shave all their hair off, and it’s winter!) and then she says no…she refused service. Really?
